انخفضت أسعار العملات المشفرة في تعاملاتها اليوم (الثلاثاء) لتهبط البيتكوين دون مستوى 70 ألف دولار، بعدما كشفت وثائق تنظيمية أن «إستراتيجي» باعت العملة المشفرة للمرة الأولى منذ أربع سنوات.
وجاءت ردة فعل السوق قوية على عملية البيع التي تعد صغيرة بكل المقاييس، ولكن يمكن تفسير هذا القلق بالنظر إلى أن «إستراتيجي» لطالما اعتبرت رمزًا لتراكم حيازات البيتكوين لدى الشركات منذ عام 2020، بعدما أمضى الشريك المؤسس «مايكل سايلور» سنوات وهو يؤكد أنه لن يبيع العملة المشفرة أبدًا.
وعلى صعيد آخر، سجلت صناديق المؤشرات المتداولة للبيتكوين في الولايات المتحدة صافي تدفقات خارجة بقيمة 2.8 مليار دولار خلال الفترة من الخامس عشر وحتى الثامن والعشرين من مايو، حسب بيانات «بلومبيرغ».
The prices of cryptocurrencies fell on Tuesday, with Bitcoin dropping below the $70,000 level, after regulatory documents revealed that “Strategic” sold the cryptocurrency for the first time in four years.
The market’s reaction to the sale, which is considered small by all measures, was strong; however, this concern can be explained by the fact that “Strategic” has long been seen as a symbol of Bitcoin accumulation among companies since 2020, after co-founder “Michael Saylor” spent years insisting that he would never sell the cryptocurrency.
On another note, Bitcoin exchange-traded funds in the United States recorded net outflows of $2.8 billion during the period from May 15 to May 28, according to data from “Bloomberg”.
