غيب الموت مصممة الأزياء الأردنية الشهيرة لميس دوغلاس بعد رحلة صراع أليمة وقاسية مع مرض السرطان، لترحل تاركةً خلفها بصمة إبداعية استثنائية وأثراً إنسانياً عميقاً في قلوب محبيها ونجمات الفن.
ونعت شقيقة الراحلة أختها عبر حسابها على منصة «إنستغرام» بكلمات اعتصرها الألم، وصفت فيها لميس بأنها «قطعة من قلبها وروحها»، مؤكدة صعوبة استيعاب رحيلها المفاجئ وتحول الحديث عنها إلى صيغة الغياب. وأضافت في مرثيتها المؤثرة: «ستبقين أختي وحبيبتي، حاضرةً في قلبي ودعائي إلى آخر العمر».
وسارعت الفنانة اللبنانية باميلا الكيك، التي تُعد من أكثر النجمات ارتداءً لتصاميم دوغلاس، إلى نعيها ونشر مجموعة من الصور والمواقف التي جمعتهما معاً عبر خاصية القصص المصورة.
وكتبت الفنانة اللبنانية: «لميس.. اليوم فقدنا إنسانة تركت أثراً جميلاً بقلوبنا، رحيلك اليوم مؤلم، لكن أثرك الجميل سيبقى حاضراً في كل شيء تركتيه خلفك». وأضافت في تعليق آخر على إحدى الصور المشتركة: «رح تضل هالصورة ذكرى جميلة منك، ورح يضل اسمك حاضر بكل حب تركتيه وراكِ».
The famous Jordanian fashion designer Lamis Douglas has passed away after a painful and harsh battle with cancer, leaving behind an exceptional creative mark and a deep humanitarian impact in the hearts of her fans and art stars.
Her sister mourned her through her account on the “Instagram” platform with words filled with pain, describing Lamis as “a piece of her heart and soul,” confirming the difficulty of grasping her sudden departure and the shift in the conversation about her to a state of absence. She added in her touching eulogy: “You will remain my sister and my beloved, present in my heart and prayers until the end of my days.”
The Lebanese artist Pamela Al-Kik, who is considered one of the stars most frequently wearing Douglas’s designs, quickly mourned her and shared a collection of photos and moments they shared together through the stories feature.
The Lebanese artist wrote: “Lamis… today we lost a person who left a beautiful impact in our hearts. Your departure today is painful, but your beautiful impact will remain present in everything you left behind.” She added in another comment on one of their shared photos: “This picture will always be a beautiful memory of you, and your name will always be present with all the love you left behind.”
