علّقت العديد من شركات الطيران الأوروبية رحلاتها إلى دول الشرق الأوسط وعبرها، حيث تثير التوترات بين الولايات المتحدة وإيران مخاوف من حدوث اضطرابات أوسع نطاقاً في المنطقة.
وذكرت الخطوط الجوية الفرنسية، في بيان نقلته وكالة بلومبيرغ للأنباء اليوم، أنها ألغت رحلاتها بين باريس ودبي أمس واليوم؛ مما أدى إلى تعليق الخدمة بشكل مؤقت إلى الإمارة؛ بسبب الوضع الحالي في الشرق الأوسط.
توترات جيوسياسية
وأوقفت الخطوط الجوية الملكية الهولندية رحلاتها إلى عدة عواصم حتى إشعار آخر. وأوضحت في بيان لها أنه كإجراء احترازي، تتجنب حالياً التحليق في المجال الجوي لعدد من دول الخليج، إضافة إلى إيران والعراق وإسرائيل.
وتؤكد عمليات الإلغاء سرعة تأثر قطاع الطيران المدني بالتوترات الجيوسياسية.
وجاء هذا الاضطراب في أعقاب تصريحات الرئيس دونالد ترمب بأن أمريكا نشرت أصولاً بحرية إلى الشرق الأوسط؛ ما جدد المخاوف من احتمالية تنفيذ تهديداته بمهاجمة إيران بسبب قمع الحكومة العنيف للمتظاهرين.
Many European airlines have suspended their flights to and through Middle Eastern countries, as tensions between the United States and Iran raise fears of wider disruptions in the region.
Air France stated in a statement reported by Bloomberg News today that it canceled its flights between Paris and Dubai yesterday and today; resulting in a temporary suspension of service to the emirate due to the current situation in the Middle East.
Geopolitical Tensions
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has halted its flights to several capitals until further notice. It explained in a statement that as a precautionary measure, it is currently avoiding flying over the airspace of several Gulf countries, in addition to Iran, Iraq, and Israel.
The cancellations highlight how quickly the civil aviation sector is affected by geopolitical tensions.
This disruption came in the wake of President Donald Trump’s statements that the U.S. has deployed naval assets to the Middle East; renewing fears of the possibility of him carrying out his threats to attack Iran due to the government’s violent crackdown on protesters.
