حالة الطقس 
أكد رئيس الهيئة العامة للموانئ المهندس سليمان المزروع، خلال إحدى جلسات منتدى الصناعة السعودي في جدة، أن سرعة الاستجابة للأزمة التشغيلية والتكامل بين الجهات الحكومية والقطاع الخاص أسهما في تعزيز مرونة الاقتصاد السعودي واستمرارية سلاسل الإمداد.
وأشار إلى أن ميناء جدة الإسلامي سجل نمواً ملحوظاً في حركة الترانزيت، مع استثمارات جديدة تجاوزت 640 مليون ريال خلال الأشهر الثلاثة الماضية.
وأوضح المزروع أن التعامل مع الأزمة أظهر قدرة المملكة على تقديم حلول عملية، والاستفادة من موقعها الجغرافي المطل على البحر الأحمر والخليج العربي، مؤكداً أن قوة الاقتصاد السعودي ومرونته تستندان إلى صناعات وشراكات قائمة على أصول حقيقية، واصلت العمل رغم الظروف التشغيلية الطارئة.
وأشار إلى أن نشاط الترانزيت شهد تحولاً لافتاً، مبيناً أن هذا النشاط كان محدوداً في السابق، إذ لم تكن تُسجل سوى حاوية أو حاويتين للترانزيت خلال شهرين أو ثلاثة، بينما ارتفع العدد إلى نحو 375 ألف حاوية خلال الأشهر الخمسة الماضية عبر ميناء جدة الإسلامي.
The Chairman of the General Authority for Ports, Engineer Suleiman Al-Mazrou, confirmed during one of the sessions of the Saudi Industry Forum in Jeddah that the speed of response to the operational crisis and the integration between government entities and the private sector contributed to enhancing the resilience of the Saudi economy and the continuity of supply chains.
He pointed out that the Jeddah Islamic Port recorded a significant growth in transit traffic, with new investments exceeding 640 million riyals over the past three months.
Al-Mazrou explained that dealing with the crisis demonstrated the Kingdom’s ability to provide practical solutions and benefit from its geographical location overlooking the Red Sea and the Arabian Gulf, emphasizing that the strength and resilience of the Saudi economy are based on industries and partnerships grounded in real assets, which continued to operate despite the emergency operational conditions.
He noted that transit activity has witnessed a remarkable transformation, indicating that this activity was previously limited, as only one or two containers were recorded for transit over two or three months, while the number has risen to about 375,000 containers over the past five months through the Jeddah Islamic Port.
