أصدرت الهيئة العامة للإحصاء نشرة إحصاءات سوق العمل للربع الرابع من عام 2025، مبينة أن معدل البطالة لإجمالي السكان في سن العمل (15 سنة فأكثر) بلغ 3.5% خلال الربع الرابع من عام 2025، فيما بلغ معدل البطالة بين السعوديين الذكور والإناث على أساس ربعي 7.2% خلال الربع الرابع من عام 2025، بانخفاض 0.3 نقطة مئوية مقارنة بالربع الثالث.
انخفاض معدل البطالة بين النساء
وأظهرت نتائج النشرة أن معدل البطالة بين النساء السعوديات سجَّل انخفاضًا سنويًّا، حيث بلغ 10.3%، متراجعًا بمقدار 1.6 نقطة مئوية مقارنةً بالربع الرابع من عام 2024، كما بيَّنت النتائج ارتفاع معدل المشاركة الاقتصادية للذكور السعوديين ليصل إلى 64.7% بزيادة قدرها 0.4 نقطة مئوية مقارنة بالربع السابق من عام 2025، في حين ارتفع معدل المشتغلات السعوديات خلال السنوات الخمس الماضية بمقدار 4.2 نقاط مئوية ليبلغ 31.0%.
وعلى صعيد مؤشرات سوق العمل الأخرى فقد بلغ معدل مشاركة السعوديين في القوى العاملة 49.5% خلال الربع الرابع من عام 2025، مسجلًا ارتفاعًا ربعيًّا قدره 0.5 نقطة مئوية، وانخفاضًا سنويًّا بلغ 1.6 نقطة مئوية مقارنةً بالربع الرابع من عام 2024، كما بلغ معدل المشتغلين السعوديين إلى السكان 45.9% بارتفاع قدره 0.6 نقطة مئوية مقارنةً بالربع الثالث من عام 2025، وبانخفاض سنوي قدره 1.6 نقطة مئوية.
وفيما يخص إجمالي السكان في سن العمل (15 سنة فأكثر) فقد أوضحت نتائج النشرة، أن معدل البطالة في المملكة (للمواطنين والمقيمين) بلغ 3.5% خلال الربع الرابع من عام 2025، مرتفعًا بمقدار 0.1 نقطة مئوية مقارنةً بالربع الثالث من العام نفسه، فيما أظهر استقراره السنوي مقارنةً بالربع الرابع من عام 2024.
معدل المشاركة في القوى العاملة
وبلغ معدل المشاركة في القوى العاملة لإجمالي السكان 67.4% بارتفاع ربعي قدره 0.5 نقطة مئوية مقابل ارتفاع سنوي قدره 1.0 نقطة مئوية، في حين وصل معدل المشتغلين إلى السكان في سن العمل إلى 65.0% مسجلًا ارتفاعًا قدره 0.4 نقطة مئوية مقارنةً بالربع الثالث من عام 2025 مع ارتفاع سنوي بلغ 1.0 نقطة مئوية مقارنةً بالربع الرابع من عام 2024.
من ناحية أخرى، وفيما يتعلق بالأساليب النشطة للبحث عن عمل فقد أظهرت النتائج أن المتعطلين السعوديين استخدموا مجموعة متنوعة من أساليب البحث النشط عن عمل، بمتوسط 4.0 أساليب نشطة لكل باحث عن عمل، وقد جاء أسلوب التقدم إلى أصحاب العمل مباشرةً أكثر أساليب البحث عن عمل استخدامًا وذلك بنسبة 74.1%، يليه استخدام المنصة الوطنية الموحَّدة للتوظيف (جدَارات) بنسبة 58.0%، في حين بلغ أسلوب نشر أو تحديث السيرة الذاتية على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي الخاص بالأعمال 50.2%.
The General Authority for Statistics issued the Labor Market Statistics Bulletin for the fourth quarter of 2025, indicating that the unemployment rate for the total population of working age (15 years and older) reached 3.5% during the fourth quarter of 2025, while the unemployment rate among Saudi males and females on a quarterly basis was 7.2% during the fourth quarter of 2025, a decrease of 0.3 percentage points compared to the third quarter.
Decrease in the Unemployment Rate Among Women
The results of the bulletin showed that the unemployment rate among Saudi women recorded an annual decrease, reaching 10.3%, down by 1.6 percentage points compared to the fourth quarter of 2024. The results also indicated an increase in the economic participation rate of Saudi males to 64.7%, an increase of 0.4 percentage points compared to the previous quarter of 2025, while the rate of employed Saudi women increased over the past five years by 4.2 percentage points to reach 31.0%.
Regarding other labor market indicators, the participation rate of Saudis in the labor force reached 49.5% during the fourth quarter of 2025, recording a quarterly increase of 0.5 percentage points and an annual decrease of 1.6 percentage points compared to the fourth quarter of 2024. The rate of employed Saudis to the population was 45.9%, an increase of 0.6 percentage points compared to the third quarter of 2025, with an annual decrease of 1.6 percentage points.
As for the total population of working age (15 years and older), the results of the bulletin indicated that the unemployment rate in the Kingdom (for citizens and residents) reached 3.5% during the fourth quarter of 2025, an increase of 0.1 percentage points compared to the third quarter of the same year, while showing stability on an annual basis compared to the fourth quarter of 2024.
Labor Force Participation Rate
The labor force participation rate for the total population reached 67.4%, with a quarterly increase of 0.5 percentage points and an annual increase of 1.0 percentage points. Meanwhile, the rate of employed individuals to the working-age population reached 65.0%, recording an increase of 0.4 percentage points compared to the third quarter of 2025, with an annual increase of 1.0 percentage points compared to the fourth quarter of 2024.
On another note, regarding active job search methods, the results showed that unemployed Saudis used a variety of active job search methods, averaging 4.0 active methods per job seeker. The method of applying directly to employers was the most commonly used job search method at 74.1%, followed by the use of the unified national employment platform (Jadarah) at 58.0%, while the method of posting or updating resumes on business social media reached 50.2%.
