تراجعت أسعار الذهب والفضة بشكل حاد خلال تعاملاتها اليوم (الجمعة)، متأثرةً بارتفاع الدولار في ظل تنامي توقعات تشديد الاحتياطي الفيدرالي للسياسة النقدية، وسط تداولات هادئة بسبب عطلة «مهرجان قوارب التنين» في الصين وهونج كونج.
بينما ارتفع مؤشر الدولار -الذي يقيس أداء العملة الأمريكية أمام سلة من ست عملات رئيسية- بنسبة بلغت 0.25% ليتداول عند 101.11 نقطة.
وتراجعت أوقية الذهب إلى الذهب (فوري) 4131.22 دولار، منخفضة بقيمة 78.85 دولار.
Gold and silver prices sharply declined during today’s trading (Friday), affected by the rise of the dollar amid growing expectations of the Federal Reserve tightening monetary policy, with quiet trading due to the “Dragon Boat Festival” holiday in China and Hong Kong.
Meanwhile, the dollar index – which measures the performance of the US currency against a basket of six major currencies – rose by 0.25% to trade at 101.11 points.
The price of gold per ounce (spot) fell to $4131.22, down by $78.85.
