شهدت شوارع العاصمة الفرنسية باريس صدمة غير متوقعة، بعد أن تحولت مقابلة عابرة بين صحفية لبنانية والنجمة الكندية العالمية سيلين ديون، إلى حديث الساعة على منصات التواصل الاجتماعي، إثر موقف غريب كشف مفاجأة أذهلت الجمهور العربي.
الموقف بدأ بدردشة لطيفة أبدت فيها «بلبل فرنسا» حبها الكبير للشعب اللبناني والمطبخ الشرقي وتحديداً طبق «البابا غنوج»، قبل أن تبادرها الصحفية بسؤال مباشر عن مدى معرفتها بأسطورة الغناء العربي الفنانة «فيروز».
لكن الإجابة جاءت كالصاعقة، إذ نفت سيلين ديون معرفتها بجارة القمر، قبل أن تسأل بعفوية وتواضع: «هل يجب أن أستمع إليها؟».
دهشة الصحفية دفعتها للتعريف سريعاً بحجم وقيمة القيثارة اللبنانية، مؤكدة للنجمة العالمية أن صوت فيروز هو «الأجمل في العالم بعد صوتكِ مباشرة». هذا الوصف أثار فضول ديون بشكل لافت، حيث كررت الاسم بتمعن ووعدت بتدقيق ألبومات أسطورة الشرق والاطلاع على أعمالها فوراً.
وأثار انتشار المقطع حالة من الانقسام والذهول بين المغردين، فبينما اندهش البعض من عدم دراية أيقونة عالمية بحجم سيلين ديون باسم بحجم فيروز، اعتبر آخرون أن اختلاف الأقاليم الموسيقية يجعل الأمر طبيعياً، لتتحول هذه اللحظة العفوية إلى جسر غير متوقع بين مسرح سيلين المرتقب بفرنسا وأصالة الشرق.

The situation began with a pleasant chat in which “the nightingale of France” expressed her great love for the Lebanese people and Eastern cuisine, specifically the dish “baba ghanoush,” before the journalist directly asked her about her knowledge of the Arab singing legend, the artist “Fairouz.”
However, the answer came like a thunderbolt, as Celine Dion denied knowing the “neighbor of the moon,” before asking spontaneously and humbly, “Should I listen to her?”
The journalist’s astonishment prompted her to quickly introduce the size and value of the Lebanese lyre, assuring the global star that Fairouz’s voice is “the most beautiful in the world right after yours.” This description sparked Dion’s curiosity significantly, as she repeated the name thoughtfully and promised to check out the albums of the legend of the East and explore her works immediately.
