أثار الإعلان عن أسعار تذاكر حفل سلطان الطرب جورج وسوف، المقرر إقامته في العاصمة الأردنية عمّان، 22 مايو القادم، حالة من الجدل الصاخب عبر منصات التواصل الاجتماعي.
أسعار فلكية
وفيما استبشر عشاق الفن الأصيل بعودة الوسوف، اصطدم طموح الكثيرين بأسعار وُصفت بـ«الفلكية»، بعدما وصل سعر التذكرة في فئتها العليا إلى 400 دينار أردني (ما يعادل 560 دولاراً أمريكياً)، ما فتح الباب أمام موجة من الانتقادات والمقارنات الساخرة التي ربطت بين تكلفة السهرة وقيمة مقاضي واحتياجات العيد.
فئات عدة
وبحسب ما أعلنته الجهة المنظمة للحفل، فإن قائمة الأسعار تشمل فئات عدة، وتبلغ قيمة فئة التذكرة العادية 55 ديناراً، والفئة الذهبية 165 ديناراً، بينما تبدأ فئة كبار الشخصيات الـVIP من 200 دينار شاملة وجبة العشاء، ووصلت الفئة الأعلى إلى 400 دينار أردني.
واعتبر منتقدون أن أسعار تذاكر الحفل تجعل منه «فعالية نخبوية»، محذرين من أن مثل هذه الأسعار المرتفعة تضع حواجز بين الفنان وجمهوره العريض في الأردن.
وقال معلقون عبر السوشيال ميديا، إن هذه الأسعار تعكس طبيعة الحفل الذي يبتعد عن صخب المهرجانات الجماهيرية المفتوحة، مشيرين إلى أنه يوفر تجربة بصرية وسمعية تليق بتاريخ جورج وسوف الطويل.

While fans of authentic art rejoiced at Wassouf’s return, the ambitions of many collided with prices described as “astronomical,” as the price of a ticket in its highest category reached 400 Jordanian dinars (equivalent to 560 US dollars), opening the door to a wave of criticisms and sarcastic comparisons linking the cost of the evening to the value of holiday expenses and needs.
Multiple Categories
According to the announcement made by the event organizers, the price list includes several categories, with the value of the regular ticket set at 55 dinars, the golden category at 165 dinars, while the VIP category starts from 200 dinars, including a dinner meal, and the highest category reached 400 Jordanian dinars.
Critics considered that the ticket prices make the concert an “elite event,” warning that such high prices create barriers between the artist and his wide audience in Jordan.
Commentators on social media stated that these prices reflect the nature of the concert, which is far from the noise of open public festivals, noting that it offers a visual and auditory experience worthy of George Wassouf’s long history.
