تستعد الجمعية العربية السعودية للثقافة والفنون بجدة لإقامة حفل جائزة ضياء عزيز للبورتريه في نسختها التاسعة مساء الإثنين القادم على مسرح جامعة الأعمال والتكنولوجيا، في مناسبة فنية وثقافية تجسد مكانة الجائزة بوصفها المشروع الأبرز والمتخصص في فن البورتريه على مستوى الشرق الأوسط.
وتواصل الجائزة حضورها السنوي المنتظم منذ تسعة أعوام، محافظةً على تفردها باعتبارها الجائزة الوحيدة المتخصصة في هذا الفن بالمنطقة، ومؤكدة دورها في دعم الحركة التشكيلية السعودية وإبراز الطاقات الإبداعية في مجال الرسم التعبيري واستحضار الملامح الإنسانية والوطنية عبر الفن.
وتحمل النسخة الحالية عنوان «الملك سلمان.. الإنسان والإنجاز»، مستلهمةً منجزات خادم الحرمين الشريفين وسيرته الإنسانية والوطنية، إذ استقطبت الجائزة مشاركات فنية من مختلف مناطق المملكة، في انعكاس لحضورها الواسع وتأثيرها المتنامي بين الفنانين التشكيليين.
وتأتي هذه النسخة امتداداً لمسيرة ثقافية وفنية حافلة احتفت خلالها الجائزة بموضوعات وطنية وثقافية متنوعة، وأسهمت في ترسيخ فن البورتريه بوصفه أحد أهم الفنون البصرية القادرة على توثيق الشخصيات واستحضار القيم والرموز الوطنية بلغة جمالية مؤثرة.
وتُنظم الجائزة بدعم ورعاية من «ليان الثقافية» و«عبق الثقافة»، ويشهد الحفل إعلان أسماء الفائزين وتكريم المبدعين المشاركين، في شراكة تعكس تكامل الجهود بين المؤسسات الثقافية والتعليمية لدعم الإبداع وتعزيز الحراك الفني في المملكة.
ومع كل دورة جديدة، تواصل جائزة ضياء عزيز للبورتريه ترسيخ حضورها كإحدى المبادرات الثقافية السعودية الرائدة، التي نجحت في بناء تقليد سنوي يحتفي بالفن والجمال، ويمنح فن البورتريه مساحة تليق بقيمته الإنسانية والتعبيرية، ليبقى منبراً للإبداع ورافداً للحراك التشكيلي السعودي.
The Saudi Arabian Society for Culture and Arts in Jeddah is preparing to hold the Diaa Aziz Portrait Award ceremony in its ninth edition next Monday evening at the University of Business and Technology theater, in an artistic and cultural event that embodies the award’s status as the most prominent and specialized project in portrait art in the Middle East.
The award has maintained its regular annual presence for nine years, preserving its uniqueness as the only award specialized in this art in the region, and confirming its role in supporting the Saudi visual arts movement and highlighting creative talents in the field of expressive painting, while evoking human and national features through art.
This current edition is titled “King Salman… The Man and the Achievement,” inspired by the achievements of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his humanitarian and national biography. The award has attracted artistic submissions from various regions of the Kingdom, reflecting its wide presence and growing influence among visual artists.
This edition continues a rich cultural and artistic journey during which the award has celebrated various national and cultural themes, contributing to the establishment of portrait art as one of the most important visual arts capable of documenting personalities and evoking national values and symbols in an impactful aesthetic language.
The award is organized with the support and sponsorship of “Layan Cultural” and “Abq Cultural,” and the ceremony will witness the announcement of the winners’ names and the honoring of the participating creatives, in a partnership that reflects the integration of efforts between cultural and educational institutions to support creativity and enhance the artistic movement in the Kingdom.
With each new edition, the Diaa Aziz Portrait Award continues to solidify its presence as one of the leading Saudi cultural initiatives, which has succeeded in establishing an annual tradition that celebrates art and beauty, granting portrait art a space befitting its human and expressive value, remaining a platform for creativity and a contributor to the Saudi visual arts movement.
