يحضر في كل إجازة صيف (سؤال الوقت)، كيف يُشغل وقت الطلبة في الإجازة بالمغذيات الأدبية والثقافية والاجتماعية والترفيهية والرياضية؛ دون إخلال بحقهم في السفر أو العمل أو الراحة، وفي ظل شراكات وزارة التعليم مع وزارات وهيئات منها وزارة الثقافة؛ تطلّع عدد من مسؤولي مؤسسات ثقافية إلى تفعيل ما تم الإعلان عنه من شراكات تسهم في خلق بيئة ثقافية ترفيهية جاذبة؛ بعيداً عن الرتابة والرسمية المدرسية؛ ما يعزز ميول ومهارات ومواهب تنتظر من يأخذ بيدها لإثبات وجودها؛ فيما يؤكد مسؤولو مؤسسات ثقافية وفنية أن العبء الأكبر يقع على عاتقهم خلال إجازة الصيف؛ كونها مظنة اكتشاف وإبراز وتقديم المواهب؛ ولذا تحضر الثقافة والفنون طيلة فترة الإجازة خصوصاً في الفترات المسائية؛ إلا أن الحاجة إلى التنسيق والتكامل يؤرق القائمين عليها.
وعدّ مدير فرع جمعية الثقافة والفنون في الدمام الدكتور يوسف الحربي، ما يتم تقديمه في جميع أنحاء المملكة من جهات حكومية أو خاصة أو من القطاعات غير الربحية في إجازة الصيف من خلال الشراكات والتعاونات، يعد تكاملاً يفتح الباب للطلاب والطالبات للاستفادة من جميع المجالات المتاحة الثقافية منها أو الفنية أو الترفيهية، ويراها الحربي مساحة غير رسمية وخارج الأسوار التعليمية تقدم وترعى المهارات ما يتيح فرصة لاكتشاف الميول، ويسهم في توجيه المسارات نحو مستقبل أكثر وضوحًا.
ويؤكد أن الشراكات والفعاليات المقدمة تترك أثراً في الطلاب من خلال تعزيز ثقتهم بمهاراتهم المتنوعة واكتشاف مواهب وقدراتهم وكفاءاتهم، فيما تتعلق وشائج الذاكرة بالفعاليات الثقافية؛ وتستحضرها باستمرار متطلعةً لتنفيذها كل صيف. وأوضح أن جمعية الثقافة والفنون في الدمام تستعد لبرنامج «ورش اليوم الواحد» لتقديم قرابة ٣٥ ورشة متنوعة تغطي مجالات فنية وثقافية متعددة كالفنون البصرية، المسرح، الموسيقى، التصوير، الكتابة الإبداعية، الخط العربي، وصناعة المحتوى، مضيفاً أنها متاحة للطلاب والطالبات بالشراكة مع الإدارة العامة للتعليم بالمنطقة الشرقية، ويقدمها نخبة من المدربين المتخصصين، بهدف منح تجربة تدريبية مكثفة ومباشرة تساعدهم على تطوير مهاراتهم خلال فترة الإجازة، ما يعكس التوجه الوطني نحو الاستثمار في الصناعات الإبداعية، وتفعيل دور الفنون.
ويذهب مدير فرع جمعية الثقافة والفنون في منطقة الباحة الدكتور علي خميس البيضاني، إلى أن فعاليات وبرامج الجمعية العربية السعودية للثقافة والفنون تستهدف المهتمين بمجالاتها من الموهوبين وبالذات من الطلاب والطالبات، وتقدم الدورات القصيرة في المنتزهات والحدائق والغابات خصوصا في مجالات الرسم والتصوير والخط العربي، وتطلع لوضع خطط لتكامل الجهود وتنسيق أوقات التنفيذ خصوصا للأعمال المسرحية التي تحتاج مواقع و تنسيق مسبق، وناشد وزارة الثقافة بتشكيل لجنة تنظر في إمكانية الاستفادة في المناطق من المنشآت التابعة لها لتنفيذ الفعاليات الثقافية.
فيما أكد رئيس مجلس إدارة جمعية الفنون البصرية فيصل خالد الخديدي، أنه مع حلول موسم الصيف تبرز العديد من الأنشطة الصيفية الترفيهية، إلا أنه قلّ ما يكون هناك برامج يحضر فيها الترفيه والفائدة التعليمية والتربوية والتثقيفية، ما يؤكد الحاجة إلى التكامل بين الوزارات والهيئات لإيجاد صيغة ترفيهية تربوية تعليمية ثقافية مشتركة، وعدّ الخديدي الإجازة الصيفية فرصة لبيئة عمل تُمتع وتُثري، و تُكسب مهارات جديدة، وتسهم في توسيع مداركهم، والتعرف على تراثهم الوطني، في إطار برامج رسمية مدعومة ومخطط لها، وتطلع لاعتماد برامج وطنية واسعة، ورحلات ثقافية، بدعم لوجستي منظم إدارياً وفنياً يضمن جودة التنفيذ، وميدانياً بزيارات للمتاحف والمواقع التاريخية والمكتبات والمعالم الوطنية، و أوضح أنه تم تدشين مبادرة (مشينا) التي استهدفت أكثر من 80 ألف طالب وطالبة في رحلات امتدت أكثر من عامين، إضافة لبرنامج (نشاطي) الذي قدم مسارات ثقافية وترفيهية ورياضية، ما عاد على الطلاب المشاركين بالفائدة وأكسبهم مهارات في المجالات الفنية من مسرح ورسم وتصوير، في بيئة صحية آمنة.
ويؤكد المشرف التربوي ناصر بن محمد العُمري، أنه يمكن تحويل إجازة الصيف إلى «موسم بناء وطني واستثمار بشري» يتماشى مع مستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030، ويتضمن استفادة الطلاب والطالبات من هذه المنظومة التي تجمع بين وزارة التعليم وهيئة الترفيه ووزارة الثقافة وهيئاتها بتأسيس بيئة بناء متكامل تحقق تكامل الأدوار، فالتعليم يتيح المواقع والطلاب، والثقافة تستقطب المواهب عبر البرامج، فيما تمنح فعاليات الترفيه الشغف والتنفيس عبر الشراكات بما يضمن وصول الفعاليات للمدن والمحافظات كافة ومحتلف القرى حيث تتوفر المرافق المدرسية على امتداد أرجاء الوطن، واقترح مسارات «لاستراتيجية وطنية» تتجاوز الدور المحدود للأندية الموسمية وأندية الحي وتطويرها من خلال برامج للفنون و المسرح والموسيقى ومختلف الرياضات.
وتطلّع العمري، لاعتماد رحلات تفاعلية للمواقع التراثية والآثار ومناطق الاصطياف خلال موسم الإجازة، وتنظيم معسكرات صيفية لتعليم الحرف اليدوية، والخط العربي، والفنون البصرية المعاصرة، و دمج الألعاب التفاعلية والذكية لتطوير مهارات التفكير المنطقي والعمل الجماعي، إضافة لتعزيز القراءة عبر أندية القراءة التي توفر شاشات لقراءة الكتب وإقامة الورشة التفاعلية سواء داخل المقر أو عن بعد، و إطلاق بطولات رياضية صيفية تفرغ طاقات الشباب وتكافح السمنة والخمول الرقمي، واقترح ترحيل دوري المدارس أو أدوارها النهائية لفترة الصيف، ومنح دبلومات معتمدة في مجال إنتاج وصناعة المحتوى، و دعم مبادرات التطوع ما يكسبهم مهارات سوق العمل المبكرة، وعدّ البرنامج الجاذب حامياً للشباب من السلوكيات السلبية والعزلة الإلكترونية، مؤكداً أن برامج وفعاليات الصيف في المناطق ترفع مؤشرات السعادة والصحة النفسية للطلاب، متى تم استثمارها بشكل جيد وتم تصميم برامجها بدرجة عالية من الاحترافية عبر الشراكة الفاعلة بين وزارتي التعليم والثقافة وهيئة الترفيه، واستثمار ممكناتها مجتمعة وخبراتها النوعية بدمجها في منظومة واحدة، تحقق جودة الحياة وتصوغ وعي الطلاب والطالبات ليتحرروا من ربق الاستهلاك للمنتج الثقافي والترفيهي، ويسهموا فيه صناعاً ومشاركين.
Every summer vacation (the question of time) raises the issue of how to occupy students’ time during the break with literary, cultural, social, recreational, and sports nutrients; without infringing on their right to travel, work, or rest. In light of the partnerships between the Ministry of Education and various ministries and agencies, including the Ministry of Culture, several officials from cultural institutions have expressed their desire to activate the announced partnerships that contribute to creating an attractive cultural and recreational environment; away from the monotony and formality of school settings. This enhances the inclinations, skills, and talents that are waiting for someone to guide them to prove their existence. Cultural and artistic institution officials affirm that the greatest burden falls on them during the summer vacation; as it is a time for discovering, showcasing, and presenting talents. Thus, culture and arts are present throughout the vacation, especially in the evening periods; however, the need for coordination and integration is a concern for those in charge.
Dr. Yusuf Al-Harbi, the director of the branch of the Culture and Arts Association in Dammam, considers what is being offered across the Kingdom by governmental, private, or non-profit sectors during the summer vacation through partnerships and collaborations as a complement that opens the door for male and female students to benefit from all available cultural, artistic, or recreational fields. Al-Harbi sees it as an informal space outside educational walls that offers and nurtures skills, providing an opportunity to discover inclinations and contributing to directing paths towards a clearer future.
He emphasizes that the partnerships and events offered leave an impact on students by enhancing their confidence in their diverse skills and discovering their talents, abilities, and competencies, while the ties of memory are linked to cultural events; continuously recalling them with the aspiration to implement them every summer. He explained that the Culture and Arts Association in Dammam is preparing a program of “One-Day Workshops” to offer about 35 diverse workshops covering various artistic and cultural fields such as visual arts, theater, music, photography, creative writing, Arabic calligraphy, and content creation. He added that these workshops are available for male and female students in partnership with the General Education Administration in the Eastern Province, conducted by a select group of specialized trainers, aiming to provide an intensive and direct training experience that helps them develop their skills during the vacation, reflecting the national trend towards investing in creative industries and activating the role of the arts.
Dr. Ali Khamees Al-Baydhani, the director of the branch of the Culture and Arts Association in Al-Baha, states that the events and programs of the Saudi Arabian Culture and Arts Association target those interested in its fields, particularly talented male and female students. It offers short courses in parks, gardens, and forests, especially in the fields of drawing, photography, and Arabic calligraphy. He looks forward to developing plans for integrating efforts and coordinating execution times, especially for theatrical works that require locations and prior coordination. He urged the Ministry of Culture to form a committee to consider the possibility of benefiting from its facilities in the regions to implement cultural events.
Meanwhile, Faisal Khalid Al-Khudaydi, the chairman of the Board of Directors of the Visual Arts Association, confirmed that with the arrival of the summer season, many recreational summer activities emerge; however, there are rarely programs that combine entertainment with educational, developmental, and cultural benefits. This underscores the need for integration between ministries and agencies to find a common recreational, educational, and cultural formula. Al-Khudaydi considers the summer vacation an opportunity for a working environment that is enjoyable and enriching, acquiring new skills, and contributing to broadening their horizons and recognizing their national heritage, within the framework of officially supported and planned programs. He looks forward to adopting extensive national programs and cultural trips, with organized logistical support administratively and artistically to ensure quality implementation, including visits to museums, historical sites, libraries, and national landmarks. He explained that the “Mashina” initiative has been launched, targeting more than 80,000 male and female students in trips that extended over two years, in addition to the “Nashaty” program, which provided cultural, recreational, and sports pathways, benefiting participating students and equipping them with skills in artistic fields such as theater, drawing, and photography, in a healthy and safe environment.
Educational supervisor Nasser bin Mohammed Al-Omari confirms that the summer vacation can be transformed into a “season of national building and human investment” that aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. It involves benefiting male and female students from this system that brings together the Ministry of Education, the Entertainment Authority, and the Ministry of Culture and its agencies by establishing a comprehensive building environment that achieves role integration. Education provides the locations and students, culture attracts talents through programs, while entertainment events offer passion and relief through partnerships that ensure the events reach all cities, provinces, and various villages where school facilities are available throughout the nation. He proposed pathways for a “national strategy” that goes beyond the limited role of seasonal clubs and neighborhood clubs, developing them through programs in arts, theater, music, and various sports.
Al-Omari looks forward to adopting interactive trips to heritage sites, archaeological sites, and summer resort areas during the vacation season, organizing summer camps to teach handicrafts, Arabic calligraphy, and contemporary visual arts, and integrating interactive and smart games to develop logical thinking skills and teamwork. Additionally, he emphasizes enhancing reading through reading clubs that provide screens for reading books and conducting interactive workshops either on-site or remotely, and launching summer sports tournaments to channel youth energy and combat obesity and digital lethargy. He suggested postponing school leagues or their final rounds to the summer period and granting accredited diplomas in content production and creation, supporting volunteer initiatives that equip them with early job market skills. He considers the attractive program a shield for youth against negative behaviors and electronic isolation, affirming that summer programs and events in the regions raise indicators of happiness and mental health for students, whenever they are well-invested and their programs are designed with a high degree of professionalism through effective partnerships between the Ministries of Education and Culture and the Entertainment Authority, collectively utilizing their capabilities and qualitative experiences by integrating them into a single system that achieves quality of life and shapes students’ awareness to free them from the shackles of consuming cultural and recreational products, allowing them to contribute as creators and participants.
