كشفت هيئة السوق المالية أنها تستهدف منح ترخيص واحد في فترة التقديم الحالية لممارسة أعمال سوق السلع والمعادن في المملكة، علماً أن فترة التقديم بدأت من الأول من يوليو 2026 وتستمر حتى 31 أكتوبر القادم. جاء ذلك في مستند نشرته الهيئة حول أبرز الاستفسارات عن السوق الجديدة. وأعدّت الهيئة قائمة تتضمن أبرز الاستفسارات الواردة إليها في شأن طلبات الحصول على الترخيص في ممارسة أعمال سوق السلع والمعادن في المملكة، وإجابات الهيئة حيالها، وذلك بهدف تمكين المهتمين من الإلمام بأبرز جوانب الترخيص لممارسة أعمال سوق السلع والمعادن في المملكة، ومشاركة المعرفة بين المهتمين في السوق المالية السعودية.
تعزيز البنية الأساسية
وتهدف الهيئة من خلال فتح استقبال طلبات الترخيص، إلى تعزيز البنية الأساسية، وزيادة الأدوات المالية في السوق المالية وتنويع منتجاتها. وتستهدف هيئة السوق المالية منح ترخيص واحد لممارسة نشاط سوق السلع والمعادن في المملكة خلال فترة التقديم الحالية، بما يتناسب مع هيكل السوق المالية والأثر على ثقة المستثمرين واستقرار الأسواق المرخص لها، إذ سيتم التركيز خلال فترة التقديم الحالية على نشاط التداول في سوق ثانوية لعقود مشتقات السلع والمعادن، بما يساهم في تعزيز جاذبية السوق، وخدمة المتعاملين فيها، ومكانتها في الأسواق العالمية. ودعت الهيئة المهتمين لممارسة أعمال سوق السلع والمعادن في المملكة، إلى التقدم بطلب الحصول على الترخيص، على أن يكون الطلب محدداً لممارسة أعمال سوق السلع والمعادن وفقاً لمتطلبات الحصول على الترخيص لممارسة أعمال السوق المنصوص عليها في لائحة أسواق ومراكز إيداع الأوراق المالية عبر النموذج المخصص للتقديم.
The Capital Market Authority has revealed that it aims to grant one license during the current application period to conduct commodity and metals market activities in the Kingdom, noting that the application period began on July 1, 2026, and will continue until October 31. This was stated in a document published by the authority regarding the most prominent inquiries about the new market. The authority has prepared a list that includes the most significant inquiries it has received regarding applications for obtaining a license to conduct commodity and metals market activities in the Kingdom, along with the authority’s responses to them, in order to enable interested parties to be familiar with the key aspects of the licensing to conduct commodity and metals market activities in the Kingdom and to share knowledge among those interested in the Saudi financial market.
Enhancing the Infrastructure
Through opening the reception of license applications, the authority aims to enhance the infrastructure, increase financial instruments in the financial market, and diversify its products. The Capital Market Authority targets granting one license to conduct commodity and metals market activities in the Kingdom during the current application period, in line with the structure of the financial market and its impact on investor confidence and the stability of licensed markets. During the current application period, the focus will be on trading activities in a secondary market for commodity and metals derivatives contracts, which will contribute to enhancing the market’s attractiveness, serving its participants, and its position in global markets. The authority has invited interested parties to conduct commodity and metals market activities in the Kingdom to submit their applications for obtaining the license, provided that the application is specific to conducting commodity and metals market activities in accordance with the requirements for obtaining a license to conduct market activities as stipulated in the Securities Markets and Depository Centers Regulation through the designated application form.
