انتقل إلى رحمة الله تعالى محمد بن عبدالعزيز الفايز، والد رئيس تحرير صحيفة «الاقتصادية» ومجلة «المجلة» وصحيفة «عرب نيوز» وصحيفة «اليوم» سابقاً الزميل عبدالوهاب محمد الفايز، مساء أمس (السبت).
وسيصلى عليه بعد صلاة عصر اليوم (الأحد)، بمدينة الرياض في جامع المهيني، على أن يوارى جثمانه الثرى في مقبرة الشمال، بحضور الأهل والأقارب وجموع من المصلين والمعزين.
وعُرف الفقيد بحسن الخلق وطيب المعشر وحرصه على صلة الرحم، تاركاً خلفه سيرة عطرة ومواقف إنسانية ستظل حاضرة في ذاكرة من عرفوه وعاصروه.
«عكاظ» التي آلمها النبأ، تتقدم بخالص التعازي وصادق المواساة إلى أسرة الفايز كافة، وإلى الزميل عبدالوهاب الفايز، سائلة الله أن يتغمد الفقيد بواسع رحمته ومغفرته، وأن يسكنه فسيح جناته، ويلهم أهله وذويه الصبر والسلوان. إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون.
Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Faiz, the father of the editor-in-chief of the newspaper “Al-Iqtisadiyah,” the magazine “Al-Majallah,” the newspaper “Arab News,” and the newspaper “Al-Yawm” formerly, colleague Abdulwahab Mohammed Al-Faiz, passed away to the mercy of Allah yesterday evening (Saturday).
He will be prayed for after the Asr prayer today (Sunday) in Riyadh at Al-Muhaini Mosque, and his body will be laid to rest in the Northern Cemetery, in the presence of family, relatives, and a large number of worshippers and mourners.
The deceased was known for his good character, pleasant demeanor, and commitment to maintaining family ties, leaving behind a fragrant legacy and humanitarian stances that will remain in the memory of those who knew and lived with him.
“Okaz,” which was saddened by the news, extends its heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathy to the entire Al-Faiz family and to colleague Abdulwahab Al-Faiz, asking Allah to envelop the deceased in His vast mercy and forgiveness, to grant him a place in His spacious gardens, and to inspire his family and loved ones with patience and solace. Indeed, we belong to Allah and indeed to Him we shall return.
