انتقل إلى رحمة الله تعالى رجل الأعمال هيف بن محمد بن عبود الرفيدي القحطاني، رئيس مجلس إدارة شركة هيف القابضة، وشركة هيف للتجارة والمقاولات، وشركة هيف الأولى للاستثمار، بعد مسيرة حافلة في قطاع الأعمال والاستثمار.
ومن المقرر أن تُؤدى الصلاة على الفقيد بعد صلاة عصر اليوم (الجمعة) في جامع الملك خالد بحي أم الحمام في مدينة الرياض.
حضور في المجالس واللجان
شغل الراحل عضوية عدد من المجالس والهيئات والجمعيات، من بينها مجلس الهيئة العليا لأندية الفروسية بمنطقة مكة المكرمة، واللجنة الاقتصادية السياحية، ولجنة أهالي منطقة عسير، إلى جانب مجلس نظارة أوقاف جامعة الملك خالد، وأسهم من خلال هذه العضويات في دعم العديد من المبادرات التنموية والاجتماعية.
من أبرز ملاك الإبل وداعمي الفروسية
عُرف هيف القحطاني بأنه أحد أشهر ملاك الإبل في الجزيرة العربية، كما كان من أكبر الداعمين لميادين الفروسية، وحظي بحضور بارز في منافسات ومناشط الهجن والفروسية على مستوى المملكة.
مسيرة استثمارية امتدت منذ 1976
بدأ الراحل مسيرته بتأسيس مؤسسة هيف للتجارة والمقاولات عام 1976، قبل أن تتحول لاحقاً إلى شركة هيف التي تتخذ من الرياض مقراً لها، وتوسعت أعمالها لتشمل قطاعات متعددة، أبرزها المباني، والطاقة، والاتصالات، والطرق، لتصبح إحدى الشركات الوطنية البارزة في قطاع المقاولات والاستثمار.
«عكاظ» التي آلمها النبأ تتقدم بخالص التعازي والمواساة لذوي الفقيد، سائلة الله أن يتغمده بواسع رحمته، ويسكنه فسيح جناته. «إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون».
Businessman Haif bin Mohammed bin Aboud Al-Rifidi Al-Qahtani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Haif Holding Company, Haif Trading and Contracting Company, and Haif First Investment Company, has passed away, after a distinguished career in the business and investment sector.
The prayer for the deceased is scheduled to be held after the Asr prayer today (Friday) at King Khalid Mosque in the Al-Umm Al-Hamam neighborhood in Riyadh.
Presence in Councils and Committees
The late Al-Qahtani held membership in several councils, bodies, and associations, including the Supreme Council for Equestrian Clubs in the Makkah Region, the Economic and Tourism Committee, and the Committee of the People of Asir Region, in addition to the Board of Trustees of King Khalid University Endowments. Through these memberships, he contributed to supporting many developmental and social initiatives.
One of the Prominent Camel Owners and Equestrian Supporters
Haif Al-Qahtani was known as one of the most famous camel owners in the Arabian Peninsula, and he was one of the biggest supporters of equestrian fields, enjoying a prominent presence in camel racing and equestrian activities across the Kingdom.
Investment Journey Since 1976
The late Al-Qahtani began his journey by establishing Haif Trading and Contracting Establishment in 1976, before it later transformed into Haif Company, headquartered in Riyadh. Its operations expanded to include multiple sectors, most notably buildings, energy, telecommunications, and roads, making it one of the prominent national companies in the contracting and investment sector.
“Okaz,” which was saddened by the news, extends its heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the family of the deceased, asking God to envelop him in His vast mercy and grant him a place in His spacious gardens. “Indeed, we belong to Allah and indeed to Him we shall return.”
