Gold rose today (Tuesday) by 0.4% to reach $4668.19 per ounce, marking the highest level since mid-May, with increasing buying momentum, supported by concerns about the value of the dollar following the U.S. Treasury Department’s announcement of increased long-term bond buybacks.
Regarding other precious metals, silver rose 0.3% in spot transactions to $69.16 per ounce, platinum increased by 0.4% to $1883.93, and palladium climbed 0.2% to $1359.00.
