كشفت الفنانة اللبنانية كارول سماحة عن مفاجأة تتعلق بأغنية «مشاعر»، التي قدمتها الفنانة المصرية شيرين عبدالوهاب وحققت نجاحاً واسعاً، موضحة أن الأغنية عُرضت عليها في البداية من الملحن الراحل محمد رحيم قبل أن تنتقل لاحقاً إلى شيرين.

وتحدثت كارول عن تفاصيل القصة في منشور عبر حسابها الشخصي على منصة «إنستغرام»، موضحة أن تلك الفترة كانت أثناء تحضيراتها لألبوم «إحساس» قبل أكثر من 10 سنوات، إذ كانت قد انتهت من تسجيل أغنيات الألبوم وبدأت الاستعداد لطرحه، بالتزامن مع تعاونها مع محمد رحيم.
رفض الأغنية
وأوضحت كارول أن رحيم تواصل معها بعد الانتهاء من ألبوم «إحساس» وأخبرها بوجود أغنية جديدة لتستمع إلى «مشاعر» وتعجب بكلماتها ولحنها والطابع الموسيقي الخاص بالأغنية، ولكنها رفضت تقديمها بسبب صعوبة إعادة فتح الألبوم وإضافة عمل جديد إليه.
وأشارت كارول إلى أن قصة «مشاعر» تكشف تأثير التوقيت والظروف في مصير الأغاني، موضحة أن العمل قد يمر بأكثر من فنان قبل أن يصل إلى الصوت الذي يحقق معه نجاحه، لافتة إلى أن لديها تفاصيل أخرى عن القصة ستكشف عنها لاحقاً.

Carole clarified that Rahim contacted her after finishing the “Ehsas” album and told her about a new song for her to listen to, “Mashaa’ir,” and she admired its lyrics, melody, and the unique musical style of the song. However, she refused to present it due to the difficulty of reopening the album and adding a new work to it.
Carole pointed out that the story of “Mashaa’ir” reveals the impact of timing and circumstances on the fate of songs, explaining that a work may pass through more than one artist before it reaches the voice that achieves success with it, noting that she has more details about the story that she will reveal later.
Luck and Timing
About a year later, Sherine Abdel Wahab released the song in her voice and achieved remarkable success, which prompted Carole to recall the details of the incident, affirming that luck and timing can change the course of songs and artistic works, even if the song had initially impressed another artist.
