أعلنت الهيئة العامة للإحصاء ارتفاع الرقم القياسي لأسعار الجملة في المملكة بنسبة 3.3% خلال شهر أبريل 2026 مقارنةً بالشهر نفسه من عام 2025، مدفوعاً بارتفاع أسعار السلع الأخرى القابلة للنقل – باستثناء المنتجات المعدنية والآلات والمعدات – بنسبة 6.4%، إضافة إلى ارتفاع أسعار المنتجات المعدنية والآلات والمعدات بنسبة 1.1%.
وأوضحت الهيئة أن أسعار السلع الأخرى القابلة للنقل سجلت ارتفاعاً سنوياً بنسبة 6.4% خلال أبريل 2026، نتيجة زيادة أسعار المواد الكيميائية الأساسية بنسبة 34.9%، وأسعار المنتجات النفطية المكررة بنسبة 3.9%. كما ارتفعت أسعار المنتجات المعدنية والآلات والمعدات بنسبة 1.1%، مدفوعة بارتفاع أسعار الفلزات القاعدية بنسبة 4.4%، ومعدات النقل بنسبة 0.3%.
وبيّنت البيانات ارتفاع أسعار المنتجات الغذائية والمشروبات والتبغ والمنسوجات بنسبة 0.8%، نتيجة زيادة أسعار اللحوم والأسماك والفواكه والخضراوات والزيوت والدهون بنسبة 3%، إلى جانب ارتفاع أسعار منتجات طواحين الحبوب والنشاء والمنتجات الغذائية الأخرى بنسبة 0.4%. كما ارتفعت أسعار منتجات الزراعة وصيد الأسماك بنسبة 1.7%، مدفوعة بزيادة أسعار المنتجات الزراعية بنسبة 1.4%، والحيوانات الحية والمنتجات الحيوانية بنسبة 3.4%.
وفي المقابل، سجلت أسعار الخامات والمعادن انخفاضاً بنسبة 0.3% نتيجة تراجع أسعار الأحجار والرمل بالنسبة ذاتها.
وعلى أساس شهري، ارتفع مؤشر أسعار الجملة بنسبة 0.2% خلال أبريل 2026 مقارنة بشهر مارس الماضي، مدفوعاً بارتفاع أسعار المنتجات الغذائية والمشروبات والتبغ والمنسوجات بنسبة 0.8%، نتيجة زيادة أسعار اللحوم والأسماك والفواكه والخضراوات والزيوت والدهون بنسبة 2.8%، ومنتجات الألبان بنسبة 1.1%. كما ارتفعت أسعار منتجات الزراعة وصيد الأسماك بنسبة 0.6%، فيما استقرت أسعار السلع الأخرى القابلة للنقل، والمنتجات المعدنية والآلات والمعدات، والخامات والمعادن دون تغير يذكر.
واقترحت الهيئة أن المؤشر يعكس تحركات أسعار السلع في مرحلة ما قبل البيع بالتجزئة لسلة ثابتة تضم 343 بنداً، يتم جمع بياناتها شهرياً من مدن الرياض وجدة والدمام.
The General Authority for Statistics announced an increase in the wholesale price index in the Kingdom by 3.3% during April 2026 compared to the same month in 2025, driven by a rise in the prices of other transportable goods – excluding metallic products, machinery, and equipment – by 6.4%, in addition to an increase in the prices of metallic products, machinery, and equipment by 1.1%.
The Authority clarified that the prices of other transportable goods recorded an annual increase of 6.4% during April 2026, due to a rise in the prices of basic chemicals by 34.9%, and refined petroleum products by 3.9%. The prices of metallic products, machinery, and equipment also increased by 1.1%, driven by a rise in the prices of base metals by 4.4%, and transportation equipment by 0.3%.
The data indicated an increase in the prices of food products, beverages, tobacco, and textiles by 0.8%, due to a rise in the prices of meat, fish, fruits, vegetables, oils, and fats by 3%, along with an increase in the prices of grain mill products, starch, and other food products by 0.4%. The prices of agricultural and fishery products rose by 1.7%, driven by an increase in the prices of agricultural products by 1.4%, and live animals and animal products by 3.4%.
In contrast, the prices of raw materials and minerals recorded a decrease of 0.3% due to a decline in the prices of stones and sand by the same percentage.
On a monthly basis, the wholesale price index rose by 0.2% during April 2026 compared to March, driven by an increase in the prices of food products, beverages, tobacco, and textiles by 0.8%, due to a rise in the prices of meat, fish, fruits, vegetables, oils, and fats by 2.8%, and dairy products by 1.1%. The prices of agricultural and fishery products increased by 0.6%, while the prices of other transportable goods, metallic products, machinery, and equipment, and raw materials and minerals remained largely unchanged.
The Authority suggested that the index reflects the price movements of goods in the pre-retail sales stage for a fixed basket comprising 343 items, with data collected monthly from the cities of Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam.
