عقد صندوق النقد الدولي ووزارة المالية السعودية الحوار الاستراتيجي الثاني بشأن شراكتهما في مجال تنمية القدرات، واتفقا على حزمة دعم لبرامج الصندوق في الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا وأفريقيا جنوب الصحراء وعلى المستوى العالمي. وذلك بحسب ما نشر موقع «العربية. نت».
قيمة الشراكة
وتبلغ قيمة الشراكة بين السعودية والصندوق 279 مليون دولار على مدى 10 سنوات، بعدما انطلقت في عام 2024، ما يجعل المملكة ثالث أكبر شريك للصندوق في مجال تنمية القدرات.
وتركز الشراكة على دعم الإصلاحات الاقتصادية وتعزيز قدرة الدول الأعضاء على مواجهة حالة عدم اليقين العالمية والإقليمية، بما في ذلك تداعيات الحرب في الشرق الأوسط.
31 نشاطا
وأكد الصندوق أن مكتبه الإقليمي في الرياض ساهم في توسيع برامج تنمية القدرات للدول الأعضاء، من خلال تنفيذ 31 نشاطاً استهدفت أكثر من 800 مشارك في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا وخارجها خلال السنة المالية 2026، بما يعزز دور السعودية في دعم الاستقرار الاقتصادي الإقليمي والعالمي.
The International Monetary Fund and the Saudi Ministry of Finance held the second strategic dialogue regarding their partnership in capacity development, and they agreed on a support package for the Fund’s programs in the Middle East, North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, and globally. Value of the Partnership
The value of the partnership between Saudi Arabia and the Fund is $279 million over a period of 10 years, starting in 2024, making the Kingdom the third largest partner of the Fund in capacity development.
The partnership focuses on supporting economic reforms and enhancing the ability of member countries to face global and regional uncertainty, including the repercussions of the war in the Middle East.
31 Activities
The Fund confirmed that its regional office in Riyadh has contributed to expanding capacity development programs for member countries by implementing 31 activities that targeted more than 800 participants in the Middle East, North Africa, and beyond during the fiscal year 2026, thereby enhancing Saudi Arabia’s role in supporting regional and global economic stability.
