دعا اتحاد الغرف السعودية الجهات العاملة في قطاع النقل إلى رفع مستوى الجاهزية وتعزيز الاستعدادات التشغيلية، في ظل الأوضاع الراهنة التي يشهدها القطاع، وذلك لضمان استمرارية حركة النقل وسلاسل الإمداد.
وأوضح الاتحاد في تعميم صادر أخيرا على ضرورة إعداد خطة عمل لعمليات النقل عبر منافذ المملكة، بما يسهم في تسهيل حركة الشحن ودعم انسيابية نقل البضائع.
وشدد الاتحاد على أهمية التأكد من توفر أعداد كافية من الشاحنات لتغطية الزيادة المتوقعة خلال فترة الأزمة، إضافة إلى زيادة عدد الشاحنات المعتمدة في خدمات النقل بالعبور (الترانزيت)، لمواكبة النمو المتوقع في حجم الأعمال خلال الفترة القادمة.
The Saudi Chambers Union has called on the entities operating in the transport sector to raise the level of readiness and enhance operational preparations, in light of the current conditions the sector is experiencing, in order to ensure the continuity of transport and supply chains.
The Union clarified in a recent circular the necessity of preparing an action plan for transport operations through the Kingdom’s ports, which contributes to facilitating shipping and supporting the smooth movement of goods.
The Union emphasized the importance of ensuring that a sufficient number of trucks are available to cover the expected increase during the crisis period, in addition to increasing the number of approved trucks in transit transport services, to keep pace with the anticipated growth in business volume in the upcoming period.
