أكد الفنان السوداني مصطفى شحاتة أن فيلمه «سلمى وقمر» المعروض حالياً في صالات السينما السعودية مستوحى من قصة حقيقية.
تحضير قصير وتواصل مع سائقين
وقال لـ«عكاظ»: «فترة تحضيري للدور في الفيلم لم تكن طويلة، واعتمدت خلالها على التواصل المباشر مع سائقين يعملون في السعودية، لفهم طبيعة المهنة والفصل بينها وبين السمات الإنسانية للشخصية»، مشيراً إلى أن «سلمى وقمر» لا يحمل رسالة مباشرة، لكنه يلامس مشاعر الحب وتقدير الذات، والامتنان للأشخاص الذين يتركون أثراً إيجابياً في حياة الآخرين، معتبراً أن هذه القيم هي الجوهر الإنساني للعمل.
ثقة كبيرة
وعن أول مشاركاته في فيلم سعودي، أكد شحاتة أن هذه الخطوة تمت بدافع حبه للتجارب الجديدة، خصوصاً في ظل الحراك الثقافي والفني المتسارع الذي تشهده السعودية حالياً، معرباً عن سعادته بعرض فيلمه حالياً في السينما السعودية، لافتاً إلى أن مشاركة الفيلم في عدد من المهرجانات، وعلى رأسها مهرجان البحر الأحمر السينمائي، منحته ثقة كبيرة في العمل بعد التفاعل اللافت للجمهور وتنوع ردود الفعل بين الضحك والبكاء.
وتحدث عن تعاونه مع المخرجة عهد كامل، مشيداً بحساسيتها واحترامها وصدق التجربة المستوحاة من شخصية حقيقية، كما أثنى على الفنانة السعودية رولا دخيل الله، واصفاً إياها بالموهوبة والمتعاونة وصاحبة مستقبل واعد.
أعمال جديدة
وعن جديده الفني، كشف شحاتة انتهاءه من تصوير فيلم «أسد» بطولة محمد رمضان، حيث يجسد دور شقيقه، إلى جانب مشاركته في فيلم «بنات فاتن»، الذي يضم نخبة من النجوم، منهم: يسرا، وباسم سمرة، وهدى المفتي، مؤكداً أن العملين يحملان تجارب مختلفة ومميزة.

Short Preparation and Communication with Drivers
He told “Okaz”: “My preparation period for the role in the film was not long, and during that time, I relied on direct communication with drivers working in Saudi Arabia to understand the nature of the profession and distinguish it from the human traits of the character,” noting that “Salma and Qamar” does not carry a direct message, but it touches on feelings of love, self-esteem, and gratitude for those who leave a positive impact on the lives of others, considering that these values are the human essence of the work.
Great Confidence
Regarding his first participation in a Saudi film, Shahata confirmed that this step was driven by his love for new experiences, especially in light of the rapid cultural and artistic movement currently taking place in Saudi Arabia. He expressed his happiness with the current screening of his film in Saudi cinemas, pointing out that the film’s participation in several festivals, most notably the Red Sea Film Festival, has given him great confidence in the work after the remarkable audience interaction and the variety of reactions between laughter and tears.
He talked about his collaboration with director Ahd Kamel, praising her sensitivity, respect, and the authenticity of the experience inspired by a real character. He also praised the Saudi artist Rola Dakhil Allah, describing her as talented, cooperative, and having a promising future.
New Works
Regarding his new artistic projects, Shahata revealed that he has finished filming the movie “Asad,” starring Mohamed Ramadan, where he plays the role of his brother, in addition to his participation in the film “Banat Faten,” which features a selection of stars, including Yousra, Bassam Samra, and Huda Al-Mufti, confirming that both works carry different and distinctive experiences.
