وقّع كرسي غازي القصيبي للدراسات التنموية والثقافية في جامعة اليمامة اتفاقية تعاون مع منصة سماوي، لطباعة ونشر وتوزيع منشوراته علمياً وثقافياً عبر قنوات إلكترونية وورقية وصوتية، بما يسهم في تعزيز انتشار المحتوى المعرفي واستدامته.
وجرى تدشين الاتفاقية خلال حفل أُقيم، اليوم (الأحد)، في مقر الجامعة بالرياض، برعاية رئيس الهيئة الإشرافية على الكرسي الدكتور عبدالواحد بن خالد الحميد، وبحضور رئيس مجلس أمناء الجامعة خالد بن محمد الخضير، والرئيس التنفيذي عبدالرحمن الخضير، إلى جانب عدد من الأكاديميين والإعلاميين.
وتضمّن الحفل عرضاً مرئياً عن منصة «سماوي» قدّمه الرئيس التنفيذي أحمد هيكل، استعرض خلاله دور المنصة في دعم قطاع الطباعة والنشر، ومواكبة التحول الرقمي الذي يشهده قطاع المحتوى في السعودية، من خلال حلول متكاملة تشمل النشر الإلكتروني والكتب الصوتية.
وفي كلمته، أشاد المشرف على الكرسي الدكتور ناصر الحجيلان بدعم عائلة الخضير للكرسي وجائزة غازي القصيبي، مؤكداً أن هذه المبادرات أسهمت في ترسيخ الحراك الثقافي، إلى جانب دعم تأسيس صالون ثقافي يحمل اسم الراحل غازي القصيبي تحت مظلة الكرسي. كما ثمّن جهود الهيئة الإشرافية واللجنة العلمية وأمانة الجائزة، وعدد من منسوبي الجامعة في إنجاح أعمال الكرسي وتنظيم الفعالية.
وشهد الحفل تقديم قصيدة للراحل غازي القصيبي ألقاها الطالب عبدالعزيز الشعيبي، إلى جانب حضور عدد من أعضاء الهيئة الإشرافية على الكرسي، من بينهم المستشار م.أسامة الزامل، وخالد المالك، وزياد الدريس، ود.عمر السيف، إضافة إلى أعضاء اللجنة العلمية وعدد من أساتذة الجامعات.
وأعلن الكرسي فتح المجال أمام المؤلفين والباحثين لطباعة كتبهم ونشرها، بعد اجتيازها التحكيم العلمي من اللجنة المختصة، في خطوة تستهدف دعم الإنتاج العلمي وتعزيز حضوره في منصات النشر الحديثة.
The Ghazi Al-Qusaibi Chair for Developmental and Cultural Studies at Al-Yamamah University has signed a cooperation agreement with the Samawi platform for the scientific, cultural printing, publishing, and distribution of its publications through electronic, paper, and audio channels, contributing to the enhancement and sustainability of knowledge content dissemination.
The agreement was launched during a ceremony held today (Sunday) at the university’s headquarters in Riyadh, under the patronage of the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Chair, Dr. Abdulwahid bin Khalid Al-Humaid, and in the presence of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the university, Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Khudair, and the CEO, Abdulrahman Al-Khudair, along with a number of academics and media professionals.
The ceremony included a visual presentation about the “Samawi” platform, presented by CEO Ahmed Haikal, during which he reviewed the platform’s role in supporting the printing and publishing sector and keeping pace with the digital transformation taking place in the content sector in Saudi Arabia, through integrated solutions that include electronic publishing and audiobooks.
In his speech, the supervisor of the chair, Dr. Nasser Al-Hujailan, praised the support of the Al-Khudair family for the chair and the Ghazi Al-Qusaibi Award, affirming that these initiatives have contributed to consolidating cultural movement, in addition to supporting the establishment of a cultural salon bearing the name of the late Ghazi Al-Qusaibi under the umbrella of the chair. He also appreciated the efforts of the supervisory board, the scientific committee, the award’s secretariat, and several university staff members in successfully conducting the chair’s activities and organizing the event.
The ceremony witnessed the presentation of a poem by the late Ghazi Al-Qusaibi recited by student Abdulaziz Al-Shaibi, along with the presence of several members of the supervisory board of the chair, including consultant Eng. Osama Al-Zamel, Khalid Al-Malik, Ziad Al-Drees, Dr. Omar Al-Sayef, in addition to members of the scientific committee and several university professors.
The chair announced the opening of opportunities for authors and researchers to print and publish their books after passing scientific peer review by the specialized committee, in a step aimed at supporting scientific production and enhancing its presence on modern publishing platforms.
