يستعد مسرح للعرائس، لتقديم حفلين جديدين يجسدان حضور أم كلثوم على الخشبة بطريقة فنية مبتكرة، حيث تُقام العروض الأسبوع المقبل يومي الأربعاء والخميس الموافقين 2 و3 سبتمبر، وتتضمن أداءً لعدد من أشهر أغنياتها، من بينها (هذه ليلتي) و(إنت عمري).
ويأتي تنظيم الحفلين ضمن برنامج العروض الشهرية التي يحتضنها مركز ثقافي بمصر، حيث يقدّم عبر مسرح للعرائس تجارب فنية تستعيد رموز الطرب العربي الأصيل، مثل عبد الحليم حافظ وفريد الأطرش وغيرهما، عبر عروض تحاكي حضورهم على المسرح بأسلوب بصري مبتكر.
وانطلق مشروع (أم كلثوم تعود من جديد) عام 2006 مع تأسيس مسرح عرائس الساقية، ليصبح منذ ذلك الحين أحد أكثر العروض استقطابًا للجمهور، حيث تُقدَّم حفلة شهرية في الخميس الأول من كل شهر بقيادة المهندس محمد الصاوي الذي يتولى تحريك العرائس وتطوير العرض. وقد جرى توسيع عدد الحفلات خلال الفترة الأخيرة نتيجة الإقبال الجماهيري المتزايد.
A puppet theater is preparing to present two new performances that embody the presence of Umm Kulthum on stage in an innovative artistic way. The shows will take place next week on Wednesday and Thursday, September 2 and 3, and will include performances of some of her most famous songs, including (This is My Night) and (You Are My Life).
The organization of these performances is part of a monthly show program hosted by a cultural center in Egypt, where it presents through puppet theater artistic experiences that revive the symbols of authentic Arab music, such as Abdel Halim Hafez and Farid al-Atrash, among others, through performances that mimic their presence on stage in an innovative visual style.
The project (Umm Kulthum Returns Again) started in 2006 with the establishment of the Sakia Puppet Theater, and since then it has become one of the most popular shows among the audience, with a monthly concert held on the first Thursday of each month, led by engineer Mohamed El-Sawy, who operates the puppets and develops the performance. The number of shows has been expanded recently due to the increasing public turnout.
