كشفت الفنانة المصرية حلا شيحة نيتها تغيير مسارها في الفن بعد أن أعلنت اعتزال التمثيل والاكتفاء بتقديم محتوى ديني على قناتها الخاصة في «يوتيوب»، طالبةً من متابعيها مساعدتها في اختيار المواد التي يمكن أن تبدأ بها.
الحياة الطيبة
وأشارت حلا عبر حسابها الخاص في «إنستغرام» إلى نيتها تقديم برنامج حواري جديد، ونشرت صورة جديدة لها من داخل أحد المساجد، وعلّقت عليها قائلةً: حابة آخد رأيكم في فكرة دايماً في بالي بس مش عارفة أبدأ إزاي ومنين، حابة أعمل بودكاست أسمّيه “الحياة الطيبة”.
وتلقّت شيحة العديد من التعليقات التي أشار أصحابها إلى عدد من الخطوات التي يجب عليها أن تتخذها للبدء بالبودكاست الخاص بها، فيما دعا لها آخرون بالتوفيق.
رحلة تحوّل
وتُعد حلا شيحة واحدة من أكثر الفنانات المصريات إثارةً للجدل بسبب التحولات المتعدّدة التي شهدتها حياتها الشخصية والفنية، وتحولت حياتها من نجمة سينمائية بارزة بعدما قررت الاعتزال وارتداء الحجاب ثم النقاب، قبل أن تعود إلى الفن مجدّداً، ثم تتجه لاحقاً إلى تقديم محتوى ديني عبر الإنترنت.
وحققت حلا شهرة واسعة في أواخر التسعينات وبداية الألفية الجديدة من خلال مشاركتها في عدد من الأفلام الناجحة، مثل: «السلّم والثعبان»، «سحر العيون»، «اللمبي»، «عريس من جهة أمنية»، وأصبحت خلال تلك الفترة من أبرز نجمات جيلها في السينما المصرية.
قرار مفاجئ
وفي 2005 تقريباً، بدأت حلا شيحة مرحلة جديدة في حياتها باختيارها الالتزام الديني، وبعد فترة قصيرة قررت ارتداء الحجاب ثم اعتزال الفن بشكل كامل عقب زواجها وانتقالها للعيش لفترة خارج مصر.
لاحقاً ارتدت النقاب أيضاً، وابتعدت عن الأضواء والوسط الفني لسنوات طويلة، وقد تحدثت حلا عن أن هذه المرحلة جاءت نتيجة قناعات دينية وشخصية تشكّلت لديها تدريجاً.
كما أشارت في تصريحات سابقة إلى أن حضورها بعض الدروس الدينية كان من العوامل المؤثّرة في قرارها.
خلال سنوات الابتعاد عن الفن، شاركت حلا شيحة في تقديم دروس ومحاضرات دينية في مراكز متخصّصة، وحرصت على نشر رسائل دينية وتربوية، ورفضت آنذاك العديد من العروض الإعلامية الخاصة بالبرامج الدينية مفضّلةً العمل في نطاق محدود بعيداً من الشهرة.
وفاجأت حلا شيحة الجمهور في 2018 بخلع الحجاب والعودة إلى التمثيل بعد غياب لأكثر من عقد. وأثار القرار جدلاً واسعاً بين مؤيد اعتبره حرية شخصية، ومعارض رأى أنه تراجع عن قراراتها السابقة، لتعود بعدها للمشاركة في أعمال درامية وسينمائية جديدة، وكان من أبرزها مسلسلا «زلزال» مع محمد رمضان، و«إمبراطورية م» مع خالد النبوي قبل أن تعود للحجاب مرة أخرى وتحذف عدداً كبيراً من صورها السابقة على حساباتها الإلكترونية عام 2025.

The Good Life
Hala indicated through her personal Instagram account her intention to present a new talk show, and she posted a new picture of herself from inside a mosque, commenting: “I would like to get your opinion on an idea that has always been on my mind, but I don’t know how or where to start. I would like to create a podcast called ‘The Good Life.’
Shiha received many comments from people suggesting several steps she should take to start her podcast, while others wished her good luck.
A Journey of Transformation
Hala Shiha is considered one of the most controversial Egyptian artists due to the multiple transformations she has experienced in her personal and artistic life. Her life changed from being a prominent film star after she decided to retire and wear the hijab, then the niqab, before returning to art again, and later moving towards presenting religious content online.
Hala gained wide fame in the late 1990s and early 2000s through her participation in several successful films, such as: “The Ladder and the Snake,” “Magic of the Eyes,” “El-Lemby,” “A Groom from a Security Perspective,” and during that period, she became one of the most prominent stars of her generation in Egyptian cinema.
Surprising Decision
In around 2005, Hala Shiha began a new phase in her life by choosing religious commitment. After a short period, she decided to wear the hijab and then completely retire from art following her marriage and moving abroad for a while.
Later, she also wore the niqab and stayed away from the spotlight and the artistic community for many years. Hala spoke about how this phase came as a result of religious and personal convictions that gradually formed within her.
She also indicated in previous statements that attending some religious lessons was one of the influential factors in her decision.
During her years away from art, Hala Shiha participated in providing religious lessons and lectures in specialized centers, and she was keen to spread religious and educational messages, refusing at that time many media offers related to religious programs, preferring to work in a limited scope away from fame.
Hala surprised the audience in 2018 by removing her hijab and returning to acting after more than a decade of absence. The decision sparked widespread controversy, with supporters considering it a personal freedom, while opponents viewed it as a retreat from her previous decisions. She then returned to participate in new dramatic and cinematic works, the most notable of which were the series “Earthquake” with Mohamed Ramadan and “Empire M” with Khaled El Nabawy, before returning to the hijab again and deleting a large number of her previous photos from her online accounts in 2025.
