أكد أمير منطقة المدينة المنورة الأمير سلمان بن سلطان بن عبدالعزيز، أن المملكة تحظى بمكانة دينية، بوصفها قبلة المسلمين ومهد الرسالة، وما تمثله من مرجعية موثوقة للمسلمين في مختلف أنحاء العالم، مشيراً إلى أن ما يصدر عن علمائها من فتاوى يستند إلى كتاب الله وسنة رسوله -صلى الله عليه وسلم- وفق منهج يقوم على الوسطية والاعتدال، ويسهم في جمع الكلمة ووحدة الصف.
جاء ذلك خلال كلمته في اللقاء العلمي الذي نظمه فرع الرئاسة العامة للبحوث العلمية والإفتاء بمنطقة المدينة المنورة، بحضور عضو هيئة كبار العلماء، رئيس مجمع خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود للحديث النبوي الشريف، الشيخ محمد بن حسن آل الشيخ، وعدد من المشايخ.
وأشار أمير منطقة المدينة المنورة إلى أهمية الدور الذي تضطلع به الرئاسة العامة للبحوث العلمية والإفتاء في منطقة المدينة المنورة، لما للمدينة من مكانة دينية، وما يرتبط بها من مسؤولية في بيان الأحكام الشرعية والإجابة عن أسئلة المستفتين، على أيدي العلماء المختصين والراسخين في العلم.
وأكد أمير منطقة المدينة المنورة أهمية تلقي العلم الشرعي والعقيدة الصحيحة عن العلماء الراسخين، الذين أفنوا أعمارهم في طلب العلم وخدمة الدين، مبيناً أن من أعظم نعم الله على الإنسان نعمة الإيمان، ثم نعمة الأمن والأمان.
كما أكد أمير منطقة المدينة المنورة أن المملكة تنعم -بفضل الله- بتحكيم الشريعة الإسلامية، وأن أنظمتها وتعاملاتها قائمة على كتاب الله وسنة نبيه -صلى الله عليه وسلم-، مشيراً إلى أن ذلك من النعم العظيمة التي تستوجب حمد الله سبحانه وتعالى وشكره.
ودعا أمير منطقة المدينة المنورة الله -عز وجل- أن يبارك في جهود مفتي عام المملكة الشيخ صالح بن فوزان الفوزان، وأن يجزي القائمين على أعمال الإفتاء خير الجزاء، ويوفقهم لكل ما فيه خير البلاد والعباد.
وخلال اللقاء، ألقى الأمين العام لهيئة كبار العلماء، المشرف العام على الشؤون الإدارية والمالية بالرئاسة العامة للبحوث العلمية والإفتاء، الشيخ الدكتور فهد بن سعد الماجد، كلمة أكد فيها أهمية الرسالة التي تضطلع بها الرئاسة، بمتابعة وإشراف مفتي عام المملكة، لخدمة المجتمع وتبصير المسلمين بأحكام دينهم، وإيصال الفتوى الشرعية الموثوقة إلى المستفيدين، وفق منهج يستند إلى كتاب الله وسنة رسوله -صلى الله عليه وسلم-، وما عليه علماء المملكة من الوسطية والاعتدال.
وأشار إلى ما للمدينة المنورة من مكانة عظيمة في قلوب المسلمين، وما تستقبله من زوار من مختلف أنحاء العالم، الأمر الذي يعظّم مسؤولية العمل العلمي والإفتائي فيها، ويؤكد أهمية الوصول إلى الزائر والمستفتي وتقديم الإجابة الشرعية الموثوقة التي تعينه على أداء عباداته على بصيرة، وتعزز وعيه الشرعي، وتحفظه من الفتاوى غير المنضبطة والمعلومات الدينية الصادرة من غير أهل الاختصاص.
وبيّن الشيخ الماجد أن ما تحظى به الرئاسة من دعم وعناية القيادة الرشيدة مكّنها من أداء رسالتها العلمية والشرعية وتطوير خدماتها، مثمناً ما يحظى به فرع الرئاسة في منطقة المدينة المنورة من اهتمام ومتابعة من أمير المنطقة ونائبه، بما يعزز دوره في خدمة أهالي المنطقة وزوارها.
إثر ذلك، ألقى عضو هيئة كبار العلماء، مفوض الإفتاء بمنطقة المدينة المنورة، الشيخ الدكتور محمد بن محمد المختار، كلمة تناول فيها أهمية الإفتاء في حياة المسلمين، وما يتطلبه من علم راسخ وتأصيل شرعي ومعرفة بأحوال الناس، مؤكداً أن وجود منظومة إفتائية مؤسسية في المدينة المنورة يسهم في تيسير وصول قاصدي المسجد النبوي إلى العلماء المختصين، والإجابة عن أسئلتهم واستفساراتهم الشرعية، ولا سيما ما يتعلق بالعبادات وغيرها من المسائل التي يحتاج إليها قاصدو المدينة المنورة.
وأوضح الشيخ المختار أن رسالة الإفتاء تتجاوز الإجابة عن الأسئلة إلى نشر الوعي الشرعي، وتصحيح المفاهيم، وترسيخ منهج الاعتدال، وربط الناس بالعلماء الراسخين والمصادر الشرعية الموثوقة، بما يسهم في حماية المجتمع والزوار من الفتاوى الشاذة والأفكار المنحرفة، ويجسد عناية المملكة بالعلم والعلماء وخدمة الإسلام والمسلمين.
ويأتي اللقاء ضمن جهود الرئاسة في نشر العلم الشرعي وتبصير المسلمين بأمور دينهم، وتعزيز حضور الفتوى المؤسسية الموثوقة، ولا سيما في المدينة المنورة التي تستقبل على مدار العام قاصدي المسجد النبوي من مختلف دول العالم، بما يواكب ما تبذله المملكة من جهود في خدمة الحرمين الشريفين وقاصديهما، وترسيخ منهج الوسطية والاعتدال.
The Prince of the Medina Region, Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, confirmed that the Kingdom enjoys a religious status as the Qibla of Muslims and the cradle of the message, representing a reliable reference for Muslims around the world. He pointed out that the fatwas issued by its scholars are based on the Book of God and the Sunnah of His Messenger – peace be upon him – according to a methodology that is based on moderation and balance, contributing to unity and solidarity.
This came during his speech at the scientific meeting organized by the branch of the General Presidency for Scientific Research and Ifta in the Medina Region, in the presence of a member of the Council of Senior Scholars, the head of the King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Complex for Prophetic Hadith, Sheikh Muhammad bin Hassan Al Sheikh, and a number of scholars.
The Prince of the Medina Region also highlighted the importance of the role played by the General Presidency for Scientific Research and Ifta in the Medina Region, given the city’s religious significance and the responsibilities associated with clarifying legal rulings and answering the questions of inquirers, through specialized and knowledgeable scholars.
The Prince emphasized the importance of acquiring religious knowledge and correct beliefs from established scholars who have devoted their lives to seeking knowledge and serving the religion, stating that one of the greatest blessings of God upon a person is the blessing of faith, followed by the blessing of security and safety.
He also affirmed that the Kingdom enjoys, by the grace of God, the application of Islamic Sharia, and that its systems and dealings are based on the Book of God and the Sunnah of His Prophet – peace be upon him – pointing out that this is one of the great blessings that necessitate thanking and praising God Almighty.
The Prince of the Medina Region prayed to God – the Almighty – to bless the efforts of the Grand Mufti of the Kingdom, Sheikh Saleh bin Fawzan Al-Fawzan, and to reward those involved in the work of Ifta with the best reward, and to guide them towards what is good for the country and its people.
During the meeting, the Secretary-General of the Council of Senior Scholars, the General Supervisor of Administrative and Financial Affairs at the General Presidency for Scientific Research and Ifta, Sheikh Dr. Fahd bin Saad Al-Majid, delivered a speech in which he emphasized the importance of the message carried out by the presidency, under the supervision of the Grand Mufti of the Kingdom, to serve the community and enlighten Muslims about the rulings of their religion, and to deliver reliable legal fatwas to beneficiaries, based on a methodology grounded in the Book of God and the Sunnah of His Messenger – peace be upon him – and the moderation and balance upheld by the scholars of the Kingdom.
He pointed out the great status of Medina in the hearts of Muslims and the influx of visitors from various parts of the world, which amplifies the responsibility of scientific and fatwa work there, and underscores the importance of reaching out to visitors and inquirers and providing them with reliable legal answers that assist them in performing their worship with insight, enhance their religious awareness, and protect them from unregulated fatwas and religious information from unqualified sources.
Sheikh Al-Majid explained that the support and care the presidency receives from the wise leadership has enabled it to fulfill its scientific and legal mission and develop its services, appreciating the attention and follow-up that the branch of the presidency in the Medina Region receives from the Prince and his deputy, which enhances its role in serving the residents and visitors of the region.
Following that, a member of the Council of Senior Scholars, the Mufti of the Medina Region, Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Muhammad Al-Mukhtar, delivered a speech addressing the importance of fatwa in the lives of Muslims, what it requires in terms of solid knowledge, legal foundations, and understanding of people’s circumstances, affirming that the existence of an institutional fatwa system in Medina contributes to facilitating the access of those visiting the Prophet’s Mosque to specialized scholars, and answering their questions and legal inquiries, especially those related to acts of worship and other issues needed by those visiting Medina.
Sheikh Al-Mukhtar clarified that the message of fatwa goes beyond merely answering questions to spreading legal awareness, correcting misconceptions, establishing a methodology of moderation, and connecting people with established scholars and reliable legal sources, which contributes to protecting the community and visitors from deviant fatwas and misguided ideas, and embodies the Kingdom’s care for knowledge, scholars, and the service of Islam and Muslims.
This meeting is part of the presidency’s efforts to disseminate religious knowledge and enlighten Muslims about their religious matters, and to enhance the presence of reliable institutional fatwa, especially in Medina, which receives visitors to the Prophet’s Mosque from various countries throughout the year, in line with the efforts made by the Kingdom in serving the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors, and establishing a methodology of moderation and balance.
