نائب أمير الشرقية يفتتح النسخة التاسعة لمعرض الحرف اليدوية – أخبار السعودية

برعاية أمير المنطقة الشرقية الأمير سعود بن نايف بن عبدالعزيز، افتتح نائب أمير المنطقة الشرقية الأمير سعود بن بندر بن عبدالعزيز، اليوم الثلاثاء، فعاليات النسخة التاسعة من معرض الحرف والأعمال اليدوية؛ الذي تنظمه غرفة الشرقية، وذلك في مركز معارض الظهران «إكسبو».

واستهل سموه جولته داخل أجنحة المعرض بلقاء عدد من الحرفيين والحرفيات، مستمعًا إلى شرح حول ما يقدمونه من منتجات ومشغولات تعكس ثراء المواهب المحلية وتنوع الحرف التقليدية والحديثة. وأشاد نائب أمير المنطقة الشرقية بما شاهده من أعمال متميزة، مؤكدًا أهمية دعم الحرفيين والأسر المنتجة وتمكين أصحاب المشاريع الصغيرة من تطوير أعمالهم وتوسيع نطاق حضورهم في السوق، بما يعزز مساهمتهم في النشاط الاقتصادي ويفتح أمامهم فرصًا أكبر للنمو والاستدامة.

من جانبه، أعرب رئيس مجلس إدارة غرفة الشرقية فهد بن عبدالله الفراج عن بالغ شكره وتقديره لسمو أمير المنطقة الشرقية على رعايته ودعمه المتواصل للمعرض، مشيرًا إلى أن افتتاح سمو نائب أمير المنطقة الشرقية للنسخة التاسعة يمثل دافعًا لمواصلة تطوير المعرض والارتقاء بمخرجاته عامًا بعد عام. وأوضح أن غرفة الشرقية حرصت منذ إطلاق المعرض عام 2015 على تحويله إلى منصة رائدة تجمع الحرفيين والأسر المنتجة والفنانين التشكيليين، وتتيح لهم مساحة واسعة لعرض إبداعاتهم والوصول إلى جمهور جديد من المستهلكين.

وأكد الفراج أن المعرض يجسّد التوجه الوطني نحو تمكين قطاع الحرف والصناعات اليدوية وتعزيز دوره في الاقتصاد المحلي، باعتباره قطاعًا غنيًا بالطاقات القادرة على خلق فرص اقتصادية جديدة. وأضاف أن غرفة الشرقية ستواصل تبني المبادرات والبرامج التي تدعم أصحاب الحرف ورواد الأعمال، وتوفر لهم بيئة أكثر ملاءمة لنمو مشاريعهم وتحويل مواهبهم إلى منتجات ذات أثر اقتصادي ملموس.

ويُعد المعرض إحدى أكبر الفعاليات المتخصصة في دعم وتمكين الحرفيين والفنانين التشكيليين والأسر المنتجة على مستوى المنطقة الشرقية، إذ يمنح المشاركين فرصة لإبراز مواهبهم والتواصل المباشر مع الزوار والتعرف على احتياجاتهم وتفضيلاتهم، بما يعزز حضور المنتجات المحلية في السوق.

Under the patronage of the Prince of the Eastern Province, Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Prince of the Eastern Province, Prince Saud bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, inaugurated today, Tuesday, the activities of the ninth edition of the Crafts and Handicrafts Exhibition; organized by the Eastern Chamber, at the Dhahran Exhibition Center “Expo”.

His Highness began his tour inside the exhibition halls by meeting a number of craftsmen and craftswomen, listening to explanations about the products and creations they offer that reflect the richness of local talents and the diversity of traditional and modern crafts. The Deputy Prince of the Eastern Province praised the distinguished works he witnessed, emphasizing the importance of supporting craftsmen and productive families and empowering small project owners to develop their businesses and expand their presence in the market, thereby enhancing their contribution to economic activity and opening up greater opportunities for growth and sustainability.

For his part, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Eastern Chamber, Fahd bin Abdullah Al-Faraj, expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation to His Highness the Prince of the Eastern Province for his continuous sponsorship and support for the exhibition, noting that the inauguration by His Highness the Deputy Prince of the Eastern Province for the ninth edition represents a motivation to continue developing the exhibition and enhancing its outputs year after year. He explained that the Eastern Chamber has been keen since the launch of the exhibition in 2015 to transform it into a leading platform that brings together craftsmen, productive families, and visual artists, providing them with a wide space to showcase their creations and reach a new audience of consumers.

Al-Faraj affirmed that the exhibition embodies the national trend towards empowering the crafts and handicrafts sector and enhancing its role in the local economy, as it is a sector rich in energies capable of creating new economic opportunities. He added that the Eastern Chamber will continue to adopt initiatives and programs that support craftsmen and entrepreneurs, providing them with a more favorable environment for the growth of their projects and turning their talents into products with a tangible economic impact.

The exhibition is considered one of the largest specialized events in supporting and empowering craftsmen, visual artists, and productive families in the Eastern Province, as it gives participants the opportunity to showcase their talents and engage directly with visitors to understand their needs and preferences, thereby enhancing the presence of local products in the market.
