كشفت الهيئة العامة للنقل أنها أصدرت أكثر من 1.6 مليون عقد لتأجير السيارات خلال الربع الأول من عام 2026.
ووفقاً لنشرة إحصائية ربعية أصدرتها الهيئة، شهد نشاط تأجير السيارات نمواً بنسبة 7% مقارنة بالربع المماثل من العام الماضي، في مؤشر يعكس تزايد الطلب على هذا النشاط في مختلف مناطق المملكة.
كفاءة التشغيل
ويسهم عقد تأجير السيارات في حفظ حقوق المؤجر والمستأجر، والحد من النزاعات، وتسهيل إجراءات التأجير، بما يعزز كفاءة التشغيل ويرفع مستوى جودة الخدمات المقدمة في القطاع.
وتصدرت منطقة الرياض النسبة الأعلى من إجمالي العقود بنسبة 31.9%، تلتها منطقة مكة المكرمة بنسبة 25.5%، ثم المنطقة الشرقية بنسبة 14.1%، فيما بلغت نسبة العقود في منطقة المدينة المنورة 6.4%، تلتها منطقة عسير بنسبة 6.2%، ثم منطقة القصيم بنسبة 4.7%، ومنطقة جازان بنسبة 3.8%، ثم منطقة تبوك بنسبة 2.7%.
وسجلت منطقة نجران نسبة 1.5%، تلتها منطقة حائل بنسبة 1.3%، ثم منطقة الجوف بنسبة 0.8%، ومنطقة الحدود الشمالية بنسبة 0.7%، وأخيرًا منطقة الباحة بنسبة 0.5%.
The Public Transport Authority revealed that it has issued more than 1.6 million car rental contracts during the first quarter of 2026.
According to a quarterly statistical bulletin issued by the authority, car rental activity witnessed a growth of 7% compared to the same quarter of the previous year, indicating an increasing demand for this activity across various regions of the Kingdom.
Operational Efficiency
The car rental contract contributes to protecting the rights of both the lessor and the lessee, reducing disputes, and facilitating rental procedures, thereby enhancing operational efficiency and improving the quality of services provided in the sector.
The Riyadh region accounted for the highest percentage of total contracts at 31.9%, followed by the Makkah region at 25.5%, then the Eastern region at 14.1%. The percentage of contracts in the Madinah region was 6.4%, followed by the Asir region at 6.2%, then the Qassim region at 4.7%, and the Jazan region at 3.8%, followed by the Tabuk region at 2.7%.
The Najran region recorded a percentage of 1.5%, followed by the Hail region at 1.3%, then the Al-Jawf region at 0.8%, the Northern Borders region at 0.7%, and finally the Al-Baha region at 0.5%.
