بعيداً عن الأضواء والمسارح، كشفت واقعة شقة مدينة نصر عن وجه آخر للمشهد الفني الشاب، بعد ضبط شحنة من «الهايدرو» والكوكايين برفقة سيدة الأعمال ندى الكامل ومطرب راب برز اسمه خلال السنوات الأخيرة في فنون الشارع وموسيقى الهيب هوب بالقاهرة.
الموقوف ليس سوى حسين أبو المعاطي، المعروف فنيًا بـ«كردي» أو «مستر كردي»، وهو أحد الأصوات التي شكّلت ملاذاً لجمهور الراب منذ ألبومه الأول «CCG» عام 2012، وصولاً إلى نجاحات متتالية في أعمال مشتركة مع أبطال «التراك» مثل فليكس ووينجي وعمو كلاي، وأغانيه الشهيرة «سنايبر» و«أبويا قالي».
لكن الهوية الحقيقية لهذا الشاب تتجاوز أجهزة التسجيل وسماعات الراب؛ إذ يملك جانباً أدبياً غير معروف لكثيرين، بعد أن أصدر عملًا روائيًا حمل عنوان «مصلب ونضارة»، وشارك به رسمياً في معرض القاهرة الدولي للكتاب.
من منصات التوقيع ومعارض الكتب إلى أروقة التحقيق والاتهام بحيازة السموم بغرض التعاطي والمتاجرة، تنقلت مسيرة «كردي» بين متناقضات غريبة، لتصنع قصة درامية شغلت أوساط المتابعين، وتطرح تساؤلات حول طبيعة الدوائر الاجتماعية التي تحيط بنجوم هذا الفن الصاعد.
Away from the spotlight and stages, the incident in Nasr City revealed another side of the young artistic scene, following the seizure of a shipment of “hydro” and cocaine alongside businesswoman Nada Al-Kamel and a rap artist whose name has emerged in recent years in street arts and hip-hop music in Cairo.
The detained individual is none other than Hussein Abu Al-Ma’ati, known artistically as “Kurdy” or “Mr. Kurdy,” who has been one of the voices that formed a refuge for rap audiences since his first album “CCG” in 2012, leading to consecutive successes in collaborative works with “track” stars like Flex, Wingy, and Amo Clay, as well as his famous songs “Sniper” and “My Dad Told Me.”
However, the true identity of this young man goes beyond recording devices and rap headphones; he possesses a literary side that is unknown to many, having published a novel titled “The Crucifix and Glasses,” which he officially participated with in the Cairo International Book Fair.
From signing platforms and book fairs to the corridors of investigation and accusations of possessing drugs for the purpose of use and trafficking, Kurdy’s journey has navigated strange contradictions, creating a dramatic story that has captivated followers and raised questions about the nature of the social circles surrounding the stars of this emerging art.
