تستعد الفنانة مي عمر لخوض السباق الرمضاني المقبل من خلال مسلسل «حليمة جبران»، الذي يجمعها مع إنجي المقدم، بيومي فؤاد، ومحمد لطفي، في عمل من تأليف مهاب طارق وإخراج محمد بكير، يمتد إلى 30 حلقة.
وينتمي المسلسل إلى الدراما الاجتماعية ذات الطابع الشعبي؛ حيث تتشابك العلاقات والصراعات داخل بيئة مليئة بالتفاصيل، مع اعتماد بناء درامي يجمع بين القصص المتصلة والمنفصلة؛ ما يمنح مساحة واسعة لتقديم شخصيات متعددة وأحداث متلاحقة.
وأوضحت مي عمر أن (حليمة جبران) يمثل تجربتها الرمضانية الرابعة على التوالي، بعد مشاركتها في (نعمة الأفوكاتو)، و(إش إش)، و(الست موناليزا) الذي عُرض في الموسم الماضي، مؤكدةً أن العمل الجديد يحمل روحًا مختلفة ويقدّمها في مساحة تمثيلية جديدة.
وتشارك مي أيضًا في بطولة فيلم (هيروشيما) إلى جانب أحمد السقا وباسم سمرة وشيرين رضا وحنان مطاوع؛ وهو عمل يجمع بين الأكشن والتشويق، من تأليف أيمن بهجت قمر وإخراج أحمد نادر جلال. كما تنتظر عرض فيلم (الغربان) مع عمرو سعد وأسماء أبو اليزيد ومحمد علاء وماجد المصري، وتدور أحداثه عام 1941 خلال الحرب العالمية الثانية في إطار درامي تاريخي.
وعبّرت مي عن سعادتها بالنجاح الكبير الذي يحققه فيلم (شمشون ودليلة)، مؤكدة أن أكثر ما جذبها إلى العمل هو اختلافه عن تجاربها السابقة، إذ يجمع بين الأكشن والكوميديا والمغامرة في قالب خفيف مليء بالمفاجآت. وأشارت إلى أن شخصية «دليلة» تمثل تحديًا جديدًا لها، فهي فتاة ذكية ومراوغة تعيش وسط عالم مليء بالمغامرات والمواقف غير المتوقعة، ما منحها فرصة لتقديم جانب مختلف من قدراتها الفنية والابتعاد عن المناطق الآمنة.
The artist Mai Omar is preparing to participate in the upcoming Ramadan race through the series “Halima Jebran,” which brings her together with Engy El-Moqadem, Bayoumi Fouad, and Mohamed Lotfy, in a work written by Mohab Tarek and directed by Mohamed Bakir, extending to 30 episodes.
The series belongs to the social drama genre with a popular character; where relationships and conflicts intertwine within an environment full of details, relying on a dramatic structure that combines connected and separate stories, providing a wide space to present multiple characters and consecutive events.
Mai Omar clarified that “Halima Jebran” represents her fourth consecutive Ramadan experience, after her participation in “Ni’mat El-Avocado,” “Ish Ish,” and “El-Sitt Mona Lisa,” which aired in the last season, confirming that the new work carries a different spirit and presents her in a new acting space.
Mai is also participating in the film “Hiroshima” alongside Ahmed El-Sakka, Basem Samra, Sherin Reda, and Hanan Motawaa; it is a work that combines action and suspense, written by Ayman Bahgat Qamar and directed by Ahmed Nader Galal. She is also waiting for the release of the film “The Crows” with Amr Saad, Asmaa Abu El-Yazid, Mohamed Alaa, and Magdy El-Masry, which takes place in 1941 during World War II in a historical dramatic context.
Mai expressed her happiness with the great success achieved by the film “Samson and Delilah,” confirming that what attracted her most to the work is its difference from her previous experiences, as it combines action, comedy, and adventure in a light format full of surprises. She pointed out that the character “Delilah” represents a new challenge for her, as she is a smart and cunning girl living in a world full of adventures and unexpected situations, which gave her the opportunity to present a different side of her artistic abilities and move away from safe zones.
