توفيت الصحفية ثريا أبو السعود، شقيقة الفنانة الإعلامية صفاء أبو السعود، التي تعد واحدة من أبرز الصحفيات المصريات اللاتي عملن في مؤسستي الأهرام والأخبار، كما شغلت منصب مراسلة صحيفة الأهرام في مدينة لوس أنجلوس الأمريكية لسنوات طويلة.

وشهد الوسط الإعلامي والفني حالة من الحزن عقب انتشار خبر الوفاة، وحرص عدد من الصحفيين والفنانين على تقديم التعازي لأسرة الراحلة والفنانة صفاء أبو السعود، مشيدين بمسيرتها المهنية الطويلة وعطائها في مجال الصحافة والإعلام.
وتُعد الراحلة ثريا أبو السعود من الأسماء البارزة في الصحافة المصرية بالخارج، وساهمت عبر عملها مراسلة في نقل العديد من الأحداث الفنية والثقافية المهمة، وتميزت بعلاقات واسعة داخل الوسطين الإعلامي والفني.
The journalist Thuraya Abu Saoud has passed away, sister of the media artist Safaa Abu Saoud, who is considered one of the most prominent Egyptian journalists who worked at the Al-Ahram and Al-Akhbar institutions. She also held the position of correspondent for Al-Ahram newspaper in Los Angeles, USA, for many years.
