كشف خالد جلال، شقيق الفنانة سهام جلال، أن الأسرة بصدد اتخاذ إجراءات قانونية لفتح تحقيق طبي شامل للوقوف على أسباب وفاتها، في ظل وجود شكوك قوية حول تعرضها لخطأ طبي أثناء خضوعها لعملية جراحية أخيرة.
عملية في الظهر
وأوضح جلال، خلال استضافته في برنامج «البصمة» على قناة «الشمس» الفضائية، أنّ الأزمة الصحية لشقيقته بدأت في2017 تقريبًا، وخضعت حينها لعملية جراحية في الفقرتين الرابعة والخامسة بالظهر، ورغم استقرار حالتها لسنوات، إلا أن الآلام عاودتها قبل ثلاثة أعوام، وامتدت لتشمل أطرافها، حيث عانت من نقص تدفق الدم في يدها اليسرى وقدمها اليمنى، ليتبين لاحقًا بعد استشارة الأطباء أن الأمر يتعلق بالأوعية الدموية وليس بالعمود الفقري.
قرار مفاجئ
وأضاف: «الفحوصات الطبية الأخيرة أظهرت إصابتها بجلطتين، واحدة في الفخذ والأخرى تحت الركبة»، مؤكدًا أن «الطبيب المعالج طمأن العائلة بشكلٍ كبير، وأكد أن الجراحة بسيطة وستتم عبر القسطرة والدعامة، حيث قرر تأجيل العملية لحين عودته من عطلته الصيفية لمدة أسبوعين أو ثلاثة، بناءً على تأكيداته بأنه لا يوجد أي خطورة على حياتها»، مُشيرًا إلى أن الأمور الصحية لدى شقيقته تدهورت بشكلٍ مفاجئ وغير متوقع تمامًا داخل غرفة العمليات.
محضر رسمي
وحول حقيقة مقاضاة الطاقم الطبي، أكد شقيق سهام جلال أن الأسرة تتواصل حاليًا مع استشاريين في الأوعية الدموية والروماتويد لفحص الحالة، حيث لمح بعض الأطباء إلى وجود علامات استفهام حول الإجراءات التي اتُّخذت مع الراحلة ونصحوا الأسرة باللجوء إلى لجنة طبية مختصة.
وأشار إلى أنّ إدارة المستشفى لم تسعَ للتعاون الكامل، حيث سبق وطلب برفقة شقيقته التقارير الطبية الخاصة بالأدوية والمسكنات التي تلقتها شقيقته في الرعاية المركزة، إلا أنّ الإدارة سلمتهم ملفات محدودة وامتنعت عن إطلاعهم على التفاصيل الكاملة، الأمر الذي سيدفع الأسرة للبدء في اتخاذ إجراءات تحرير محضر رسمي، تمهيدًا لرفع دعوى قضائية تتيح عرض الملف الطبي بالكامل على لجنة طبية رسمية للبت في وجود خطأ طبي من عدمه.
الساعات الأخيرة
وأكد أن المستشفى في حد ذاته ليس خصمًا للأسرة، خصوصًا أن قلب شقيقته توقف في الرعاية المركزة لمدة ربع ساعة، ونجح الأطباء في إنعاشه وإعادتها للحياة لعدة ساعات قبل أن تغادر الحياة، واصفًا اللحظات الأخيرة لشقيقته بأنها غابت عن الوعي تمامًا عقب خروجها من غرفة العمليات، حيث نطقت ببضع جمل قصيرة فقط، ثم فقدت القدرة على التنفس تحت قناع الأكسجين حتى وفاتها.

ورحلت الفنانة سهام جلال عن عالمنا في الساعات الأولى من صباح يوم الثلاثاء 2 يونيو، وذلك عن عمرٍ يناهز 54 عاماً، بعد أزمة صحية مفاجئة دخلت على إثرها المستشفى لإجراء عملية جراحية، إلا أن حالتها الصحية تعرضت لمضاعفات جراء العملية وتوقفت عضلة القلب أكثر من مرة حتى لفظت أنفاسها الأخيرة تاركة حالة من الحزن في الوسط الفني.
Khaled Jalal, the brother of artist Sihem Jalal, revealed that the family is in the process of taking legal action to open a comprehensive medical investigation to determine the causes of her death, amid strong suspicions that she was subjected to a medical error during her recent surgery.
Surgery on the Back
Jalal explained, during his appearance on the program “Al-Basma” on “Al-Shams” satellite channel, that his sister’s health crisis began around 2017, when she underwent surgery on the fourth and fifth vertebrae in her back. Although her condition stabilized for years, the pain returned three years ago and extended to her limbs, where she suffered from reduced blood flow in her left hand and right foot. It later became clear after consulting doctors that the issue was related to blood vessels and not the spine.
Unexpected Decision
He added: “The latest medical tests showed that she suffered from two blood clots, one in her thigh and the other below her knee,” confirming that “the treating physician reassured the family significantly, stating that the surgery was simple and would be done via catheterization and stenting. He decided to postpone the operation until his return from his summer vacation for a week or three, based on his assurances that there was no danger to her life,” pointing out that his sister’s health deteriorated suddenly and unexpectedly in the operating room.
Official Report
Regarding the possibility of suing the medical staff, Sihem Jalal’s brother confirmed that the family is currently in contact with consultants in vascular and rheumatoid medicine to examine the case, as some doctors hinted at the existence of questions regarding the procedures taken with the deceased and advised the family to resort to a specialized medical committee.
He noted that the hospital administration did not seek to cooperate fully, as he had previously requested along with his sister the medical reports related to the medications and painkillers that his sister received in intensive care. However, the administration provided them with limited files and refused to disclose the complete details, which will prompt the family to begin taking steps to file an official report, preparing to file a lawsuit that would allow them to present the complete medical file to an official medical committee to determine whether there was a medical error or not.
The Last Hours
He confirmed that the hospital itself is not an adversary to the family, especially since his sister’s heart stopped in intensive care for a quarter of an hour, and the doctors succeeded in reviving her and bringing her back to life for several hours before she passed away, describing his sister’s last moments as having lost consciousness completely after leaving the operating room, where she spoke only a few short sentences before losing the ability to breathe under the oxygen mask until her death.
Sihem’s Death
The artist Sihem Jalal passed away in the early hours of Tuesday, June 2, at the age of 54, following a sudden health crisis that led her to the hospital for surgery. However, her health condition suffered complications due to the operation, and her heart stopped multiple times until she took her last breaths, leaving a state of sadness in the artistic community.
