بعد أكثر من 4 سنوات على عرض الجزء السادس من مسلسل «الكبير أوي» بطولة الفنانان أحمد مكي ودنيا سمير غانم، كشف المخرج المنفذ محمد خيري كواليس اختيار الفنانة رحمة أحمد بعد اعتذار النجمة دنيا عن الجزء السادس.
أصعب اللحظات
وقال خيري: «توقف مسلسل الكبير بعد الموسم الخامس، وكانت من أصعب اللحظات هي العودة من جديد، بداية من مذاكرة الموسم الجديد بعد توقف أكثر من موسم، والمفاجأة كانت لما عرفنا إن دنيا سمير غانم مش موجودة، والمفروض نختار شخصية بديلة لها وشخصية «العترة» ابن الكبير، وأنا كنت المسؤول عن تكملة أسرة الكبير في المسلسل».
بونبوناية المسرحية
وأضاف: «عملنا مقابلات كتير جداً لممثلين في المجال ومعروفين علشان يعملوا شخصية «هداية» زوجة الكبير، والمخرج قرر إحضار شخصية جديدة، وأنا في فترة التوقف كنت بتفرج على المسرح، ومشاريع التخرج في الطليعة والسلام، تشجيعاً لزملائنا، وبالصدفة كنا بنتفرج على العروض المسرحية، قلت للمخرج في مسرحية اسمها «ديجافو» على مسرح الهناجر، وكان لينا صحابنا في العرض دا، قلنا نروح نتفرج، لقيت مكي بيقول أنا هاجي معاكم، وضبطنا ميعاد للعرض وروحنا اتفرجنا وشوفنا رحمة أحمد على المسرح وكانت بونبوناية المسرحية، ولما خرجنا من العرض لقيت أحمد الجندي بيكلّمني يقولي خليها تجيلنا بكرة الظهر وقد كان».
After more than 4 years since the sixth season of the series “El Kabeer Awi,” starring artists Ahmed Mekky and Donia Samir Ghanem, the executive director Mohamed Khairy revealed the behind-the-scenes of choosing the actress Rahma Ahmed after Donia’s withdrawal from the sixth season.
The Toughest Moments
Khairy said: “The series stopped after the fifth season, and one of the toughest moments was the return again, starting from studying the new season after a break of more than one season. The surprise was when we learned that Donia Samir Ghanem was not available, and we had to choose an alternative character for her and the character of ‘Al-Itra,’ the son of El Kabeer. I was responsible for continuing the family of El Kabeer in the series.”
The Theatrical Bonbon
He added: “We held many interviews with actors in the field who are well-known to play the character of ‘Hedaya,’ El Kabeer’s wife, and the director decided to bring in a new character. During the break, I was watching theater and graduation projects in the forefront and peace, encouraging our colleagues. By coincidence, we were watching the theatrical performances, and I told the director about a play called ‘Déjà Vu’ at the Hanager Theater. We had friends in that show, so we decided to go watch it. I found Mekky saying he would come with us. We set a date for the show, went to watch it, and saw Rahma Ahmed on stage, and she was the bonbon of the play. When we left the show, I found Ahmed El Gendy calling me, telling me to have her come to us tomorrow afternoon, and so it was.”
