حقّقت السعودية نموّاً قياسياً في قيمة صادرات التمور خلال عام 2025، بتسجيل ارتفاع بنسبة 14.3% مقارنةً بعام 2024م، و59.5% منذ عام 2021م، إذ بلغت قيمة الصادرات 1.938 مليار ريال؛ ما يؤكّد تطور قطاع النخيل والتمور في المملكة، وارتفاع جودة التمور السعودية وكفاءتها الإنتاجية، وتعزيز ريادتها وسيطرتها على الأسواق العالمية؛ بما يسهم في رفع مساهمة القطاع الزراعي بالناتج المحلي الإجمالي، ودعم الاقتصاد الوطني، وفقاً لمستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030.
دعم غير محدود
وأوضح وزير البيئة والمياه والزراعة رئيس مجلس إدارة المركز الوطني للنخيل والتمور المهندس عبدالرحمن الفضلي، أن هذا الإنجاز يأتي نتيجةً للدعم غير المحدود الذي يحظى به القطاع من قِبل القيادة الرشيدة، إلى جانب التنسيق والتكامل بين الجهات الحكومية والقطاع الخاص، لتطوير سلاسل الإمداد، وتعزيز كفاءة التصدير، وتوسيع حضور التمور السعودية في الأسواق العالمية، مُشيراً إلى أن مبادرة «تمكين صادرات التمور السعودية ودخولها للأسواق العالمية»، شكّلت الركيزة الأساسية لتحقيق هذا الإنجاز، وتوسيع نطاق صادرات التمور السعودية وتعزيز انتشارها في الأسواق العالمية، إذ ارتفعت الصادرات إلى العديد من الدول مقارنة بعام 2024.
جودة وتنافسية عالية
وأشار المهندس الفضلي إلى أن المملكة تُعد واحدة من أبرز الدول الرائدة في إنتاج وتصدير التمور عالمياً، إذ يتم تصديرها إلى أكثر من 125 دولة حول العالم، بجودة تنافسية عالية، وتنوع فريد؛ مما جعلها تجد إقبالاً كبيراً، وتلبي حاجات وأذواق المستهلكين في مختلف أنحاء العالم.
يذكر أن قطاع النخيل والتمور شهد تحولات نوعية وإنجازات ملموسة، من حيث كميات إنتاج التمور، وتنوع أصنافها، وتعدد صناعاتها التحويلية، إذ بلغ حجم إنتاج التمور في المملكة خلال عام 2025 أكثر من 1.9 مليون طن، وتحتضن المملكة أكثر من 37 مليون نخلة، مما يعكس تنوع القطاع وقدرته على تلبية متطلبات الأسواق العالمية بمختلف أذواقها، ويعزز مكانة المملكة واحدة من أبرز الدول الرائدة في إنتاج وتصدير التمور عالمياً.
Saudi Arabia achieved a record growth in the value of date exports during the year 2025, with an increase of 14.3% compared to 2024, and 59.5% since 2021, as the value of exports reached 1.938 billion riyals; this confirms the development of the palm and date sector in the Kingdom, the rising quality of Saudi dates and their production efficiency, and enhances its leadership and dominance in global markets; contributing to increasing the agricultural sector’s share of the gross domestic product and supporting the national economy, according to the targets of Vision 2030.
Unlimited Support
The Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Center for Palms and Dates, Engineer Abdulrahman Al-Fadli, explained that this achievement comes as a result of the unlimited support the sector receives from the wise leadership, along with the coordination and integration between government entities and the private sector, to develop supply chains, enhance export efficiency, and expand the presence of Saudi dates in global markets. He pointed out that the initiative “Empowering Saudi Date Exports and Entering Global Markets” formed the cornerstone for achieving this accomplishment and expanding the scope of Saudi date exports and enhancing their presence in global markets, as exports increased to many countries compared to 2024.
High Quality and Competitiveness
Engineer Al-Fadli indicated that the Kingdom is one of the leading countries in the production and export of dates globally, as they are exported to more than 125 countries around the world, with high competitive quality and unique diversity; this has led to a significant demand, meeting the needs and tastes of consumers in various parts of the world.
It is worth noting that the palm and date sector has witnessed qualitative transformations and tangible achievements in terms of date production quantities, the diversity of its varieties, and the multiplicity of its processing industries, as the volume of date production in the Kingdom during 2025 exceeded 1.9 million tons, and the Kingdom hosts more than 37 million palm trees, reflecting the sector’s diversity and its ability to meet the requirements of global markets with various tastes, and enhancing the Kingdom’s position as one of the leading countries in the production and export of dates globally.
