كشف الكاتب والروائي المعروف الدكتور نايف الجهني اكتمال النسخة المبدئية من مشروعه الدرامي التاريخي الأضخم تحت عنوان «المؤسس»، المكوَّن من 100 حلقة، الذي يستعرض السيرة العطرة للملك عبدالعزيز بن عبدالرحمن آل سعود -طيب الله ثراه- بأسلوب درامي فلسفي إنساني يليق بمكانة رمز التوحيد وباني هذا الكيان الشامخ.
وقال الدكتور نايف الجهني، في تصريح خاص إلى «عكاظ»: «إن هذا المشروع ليس مجرد سرد تاريخي، بل هو رؤية فنية عالمية الطموح، تهدف إلى تقديم الجوانب القيادية والفكرية والإنسانية للملك المؤسس، بلغة عصرية تخاطب العالم وتُخلِّد القصة للأجيال. وقد اعتمدت على أدق المصادر الرسمية، وأنا اليوم أنتظر المباركة والدعم من الجهات المعنية، وليكن إنتاجه عبر هيئة الترفيه أو وزارة الثقافة، وأتشرف بأي توجيه ومساندة من الجهات المعنية لجعل هذا العمل حدثاً سينمائياً وثقافياً عالمياً يليق بتاريخ بلادنا العظيم».
وأوضح الجهني أنه صاغ العمل في خمسة أقواس درامية تمثل خارطة طريق الملحمة، لتشكل سردية متكاملة لتوحيد الجزيرة العربية، موزعة على 100 حلقة، مع توسيع لكل مرحلة بما يمنح العمق والتفصيل، وهي:
• القوس الأول (مرحلة الجسر التاريخي بين تأسيس الدولة الأولى والثانية، وصولاً إلى بداية رحلة الخروج من الرياض للتخطيط لهذه الملحمة)، حيث تتحول محنة السقوط إلى مدرسة لصناعة القائد، ويرصد تشكُّل العقلية الاستراتيجية للملك المؤسس من رحم الأمل العميق والترقب الحكيم.
• القوس الثاني (فتح الرياض وتأسيس النواة)، حيث يتحول الحلم إلى فعل، ويوثق لحظة الاسترداد التاريخية، والبدايات الأولى لبناء كيان متين في قلب نجد.
• القوس الثالث (توحيد نجد وبناء التحالفات)، حيث تتجلى حكمة الملك في تحويل الصراع إلى دولة، وإظهار الرياض مركزَ إشعاعٍ سياسي وعسكري.
• القوس الرابع (توحيد الحجاز وميلاد المملكة)، ويرصد التحول الفارق من قائد محلي إلى زعيم الأمة، وإعلان الكيان المبارك تحت راية التوحيد.
• القوس الخامس (البناء والتأسيس)، إذ يخلد إرث المؤسس في بناء الدولة الحديثة، من الأنظمة والأمن إلى التعليم والاتصالات، لتظل أسسه قائمة شاهدة على عبقرية القائد.
وحدّد الجهني هوية العمل اللغوية، مؤكداً أنه سيكون باللغة العربية الفصحى القريبة من اللغة اليومية، ليكون قريباً من وجدان المشاهد، وسيُترجم إلى اللغة الإنجليزية أثناء العرض، ليصل إلى الجمهور العالمي، محققاً بذلك هدفه الأسمى في جعل هذا المسلسل عملاً عالمياً يروي قصة التأسيس للعالم بلغة إنسانية جامعة، تثير إعجاب المجتمعات بكافة مستوياته الثقافية والمعرفية.
وأكد إن النص جاهز، وينتظر فقط اطلاع الجهات المعنية عليه وإثراءه بالملاحظات والتعديلات، ليكتمل عقده، وقبل ذلك تتويج هذا الحلم الطموح بالمباركة والدعم الرسمي من المقام السامي والجهات المعنية؛ لأن هذا العمل يستحق أن يُرى بالصورة التي تليق بعراقة هذا التاريخ.
واختتم الجهني رسالته برسالة وطنية مؤثرة، قال فيها: «نحن أبناء هذا الوطن، الذين نعمنا بوحدته وخيراته الكبيرة على مدى ثلاثة قرون، منذ التأسيس قبل 300 عام، مروراً بتوحيد المملكة على يد المغفور له الملك عبدالعزيز -طيب الله ثراه-، واستمراراً في عهد خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز وولي عهده الأمين، وهذا التاريخ العظيم يستحق أكثر من عمل فني، ويمكن لهذا المسلسل أن يتحوّل أيضاً إلى فيلم سينمائي، ليكون إرثاً بصرياً يخلد قصة الأجداد للأجيال القادمة. نسأل الله أن يوفقنا لخدمة هذا الوطن المعطاء، وأن تلقى الفكرة المباركة والدعم، لتكون انطلاقة حقيقية لملحمة تليق باسم المؤسس». متمنياً مساعدته لتحقيق حلمه وحلم كل مواطن يريد أن يرى العالم كيف تشكلت هذه الملحمة العظيمة.
جاءت هذه المبادرة النوعية من الدكتور نايف الجهني لتجسّد حراكاً ثقافياً واعياً يدرك أن توثيق سيرة الأبطال المؤسسين، وسيرة البطل معزّي، بالقالب الفني العصري، وإنتاجه ليس رفاهية فنية، بل توثيق وترسيخ لكل مضامينه الاستثنائية. وواجب وطني يتماشى مع مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030 التي أولت قطاع الثقافة والفنون أولوية غير مسبوقة.
The well-known writer and novelist Dr. Nayef Al-Jahani revealed the completion of the initial version of his monumental historical drama project titled “The Founder,” consisting of 100 episodes, which showcases the illustrious biography of King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud – may God have mercy on him – in a dramatic, philosophical, and human style that befits the stature of the symbol of unification and the builder of this towering entity.
Dr. Nayef Al-Jahani stated in a special interview with “Okaz”: “This project is not just a historical narrative; it is an ambitious global artistic vision aimed at presenting the leadership, intellectual, and human aspects of the founding king in a contemporary language that addresses the world and immortalizes the story for future generations. I have relied on the most accurate official sources, and today I await the blessing and support from the relevant authorities, whether its production is through the Entertainment Authority or the Ministry of Culture. I would be honored to receive any guidance and assistance from the concerned parties to make this work a global cinematic and cultural event worthy of our great nation’s history.”
Al-Jahani explained that he structured the work into five dramatic arcs that represent a roadmap for the epic, forming a comprehensive narrative for the unification of the Arabian Peninsula, distributed over 100 episodes, with an expansion for each phase that provides depth and detail, which are:
• The first arc (the historical bridge between the establishment of the first and second states, leading to the beginning of the journey from Riyadh to plan for this epic), where the ordeal of downfall transforms into a school for leadership development, capturing the formation of the strategic mindset of the founding king from the womb of deep hope and wise anticipation.
• The second arc (the opening of Riyadh and the establishment of the nucleus), where the dream turns into action, documenting the historical moment of recovery and the initial beginnings of building a solid entity in the heart of Najd.
• The third arc (the unification of Najd and the building of alliances), where the wisdom of the king is manifested in transforming conflict into a state, showcasing Riyadh as a center of political and military radiance.
• The fourth arc (the unification of Hijaz and the birth of the kingdom), capturing the pivotal transformation from a local leader to a national leader, and the declaration of the blessed entity under the banner of unification.
• The fifth arc (building and establishment), where the legacy of the founder is immortalized in building the modern state, from systems and security to education and communications, ensuring that its foundations remain as a testament to the genius of the leader.
Al-Jahani defined the linguistic identity of the work, confirming that it will be in modern standard Arabic close to everyday language, making it resonate with the viewers’ sentiments, and it will be translated into English during the broadcast to reach a global audience, thus achieving his ultimate goal of making this series a global work that narrates the story of the founding to the world in a universal human language that captivates communities at all cultural and intellectual levels.
He confirmed that the script is ready and is only awaiting the concerned authorities to review it and enrich it with comments and amendments, to complete its formation, and before that, to crown this ambitious dream with the blessing and official support from the esteemed leadership and relevant authorities; because this work deserves to be seen in a manner befitting the nobility of this history.
Al-Jahani concluded his message with a moving national message, stating: “We are the sons of this nation, who have enjoyed its unity and great blessings for three centuries, since its establishment 300 years ago, through the unification of the kingdom by the late King Abdulaziz – may God have mercy on him – and continuing under the reign of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and his trustworthy Crown Prince. This great history deserves more than just an artistic work, and this series can also transform into a cinematic film, to become a visual legacy that immortalizes the story of our ancestors for future generations. We ask God to grant us success in serving this generous nation, and for this blessed idea to receive support, to be a true launch for an epic worthy of the name of the founder.” He hopes for assistance in realizing his dream and the dream of every citizen who wants to see how this great epic was formed.
This qualitative initiative from Dr. Nayef Al-Jahani embodies a conscious cultural movement that recognizes that documenting the biographies of the founding heroes, and the story of the hero Muzaffar, in a modern artistic framework, is not an artistic luxury but a documentation and consolidation of all its exceptional meanings.
